Some of you guys must live in really warm places. Or you're such badasses that you run around in the snow with a wife-beater and thin sweatpants doing flips into snowpiles and shaking the cold off like a boss.

They look really really really awesome, but I did read this about them, any comment?

Marketing. It sounds good that they added that stuff.

Go into pubmed and see.

I guess I was more asking how they work if the B12 doesn't keep you awake. I've had to stay up all night before and taking an 'all-day' shot with very little caffeine has kept me awake easily for 9+ hours with a flushed red face and beating heart. Which just sounds terribly unhealthy, but effective nonetheless.

Take Flight bought David Belle and turned him into an ad.

Oh no, he sold out. You better go back to only watching videos of the underground traceurs that nobody has heard of. F these mainstream sellouts.

Watched that movie the other day, was so tired I couldn't understand what was happening. The storyline was awful.

Regardless, congrats ;P

I use gloves when training in the winter here in Oregon. It's too rainy and cold otherwise and it tears at my hands. Sometimes I'll take them off when drilling a technique but I like to have them with me at the very least.

B vitamins don't provide energy. They are just necessary for normal metabolic processes.

The energy you get from energy drinks are from caffeine or other stimulants, and the sugars in the drink.

So basically, you don't need energy drinks.

What about things like '5 hour energy' and 'spike energy shots'? The super small packaged drinks that have less caffeine than a cup of coffee but have 1000% dv of b12 and whatnot?

Some of the cleanest tucks and flips I've seen. Nice video.

Consumer Whores / Re: Why isn't the lightmesh Ariakes on the market?
« on: September 21, 2011, 03:04:42 PM »
Yeah, those versions came out later. When it first came out there was only one white version. Either way, I don't think you'll find the mesh ones anymore.

Are there other ways? Sure. Is this a nice way to force yourself to see something that is possibly sub-conscious. Yes. Again, it wasn't controlling my habits. It helped me see that not only do I eat when it isn't needed, but sometimes I eat when I don't even want it. Walking by a cabinet and grab some chips, a piece of candy, etc. I had no reason to eat it, I gained no need energy, no pleasure was derived from it. It was merely a robotic consumption. How could I stop what I didn't know I was doing?

Not everybody walks past their cabinets and grabs snacks constantly. In fact, most people here that would do this challenge probably don't.

Regardless, I've done this a few times involuntarily due to medical conditions and have never seen an improvement in anything except a slightly decreased appetite afterward.

I get really bad migraines and stomach pains (related to a stomach disease) if I go more than a day without food though, so I tend to avoid it.

Well at least your tutorial hasn't been linked four times by four different people in this thread...

Why is your foot touching in your avatar?

It seems discussing the philosophy of parkour is like discussing religion; f#cking pointless.

Maybe that's why I'm an atheist as well as a believer that this discussion is fruitless.

The original white lite mesh Ariakes were pretty ugly though to be honest, I had them, I know ;P

I'm fairly sure that the Ariake III which came out recently (that I reeeaaallly want) have a meshed front, so they probably just did away with the special lite mesh version. I've also heard the III is much lighter than the previous versions: http://www.kswiss.com/item/0/02778-099/Men/Footwear_Parkour___Free_Running/ariake_III/Blk_Chrcl_Brtyllw.html?xs=pp

Again, this is all heresay, I don't actually have these shoes, yet. Also they look pretty cool.

When I wore skate shoes I payed no more than $40 for them, my ariake lite meshes weren't quite so cheap. Regardless I couldn't imagine trying to use skate shoes for parkour. As for the picture, it's nice... but it's all in the landing :)

You rock Muse, great guide, I'll make sure to make use of it. Thanks :)
