I meant "Toronto". =(

The video was hilarious, especially the part with the train.
And the parkour technique wasn't bad at all!

Pics & Vids / What's with this Toronto jam?

My dad was messing around on youtube, and found some short video of a chick's parkour meet in Toronto :
http://youtube.com/watch?v=OipMCtzJ9BQ

Near the end (at exactly 1:15 to 1:24), the show some chick doing a wallrun, and in the bottom right corner, you see some GUY doing a turn vault on a rail.
What's up with that?
What's a dude doing at a chick's jam?
I'm thinking that he got tricked by all his traceur buddies :
"Hey, Bob, there's this awesome jam going on in Denver this weekend, you should come! It'll be *lots of fun*!"

I just found it rather amusing. =D

Personally, I'd describe it as much more of a freerunning group...

Maybe do it as a bit of a Free-Running Tutorial and teach Basic Flips, Wall spins, etc.

Yeah, you could sure use a wallspin tutorial. :P

Suggestions?
Wallrun tutorial, basic roll tutorial, turnaround vault tutorial.
And I agree with Demon - if you're going to do this, make sure you do a very good job, make it easy to follow and fairly user-friendly.

I have pictures up :

The group shot just before we left Fort Park.
Me doing a kong onto a fountain and a running jump from a bench to a raised flower bed.
Logan doing an underbar of some sort and a crazy running jump from the wall to the grass.
Ryan doing a one arm pullup and a monkey vault.
Grey doing a jump between a couple rocks, or maybe some sort of dive[/url]...
Grey landing some kind of vault over a rail.
Then here's a picture of the two guys who joined us at the campus over by the high wall. One of them is trying to haul himself up, the other appears to be laughing at him.

That was a load of fun, especially for the first jam I've ever been to.
It was cool finally meeting some of you guys, and watching Sat show everyone up with his flips.
I hope to get in on more of your meet-ups, although not in the near future.

Thanks for hosting this, Saint!

Looks like I'll be able to make it! :D
Incidentally, the Google Map you linked to is a map of some location in Brazil, and I can't find an actual map to Fort Collin's CSU.

I could probably come down from Cheyenne for Memorial Day (which is, officially, this Monday).
Get me a time and place, and I will try my best to be there!
