I got these recently but I have a question.

Should I be afraid to get them dirty?  What I mean by that is generally walking, I get sand and dirt in them, and it feels like it drags me down.  Don't laugh, but I usually wear bags on my feet until I get to my training spot.  Should I be doing that, or can they get down and dirty?

Parkour And Freerunning / Are they suppose to be like this?

(Sorry if this is in the wrong board)

I just got a pair of FiveTen Freerunners Alien Glow (V2).  Everyone was raving about how sticky they are/were, butt hey don't feel like anything noticeable.  It almost feels like my regular street shoes have a better grip on them.  is it suppose to feel like this?

Also, around my area, we don't have much cement to train on.  It's usually around the park, but they are filled with sand.  Is it bad if sand gets on the bottom?  I'm being very protective over my shoes, because I'm afraid they will get dirty, but should I not be as careful?

Hey guys.  I just found out about this.  I've been practicing parkour for about 3 months, and I just got back into it.  If anyone is in the IGH area of the South Metro area (Near St. Paul) hit me up.
