Can we please call the half range or half push ups, instead of female? Seriously.
Well I am a guy Ms. Sarai Brock!=) And female push ups don't only or mainly work yor pecs. I can do 107 full range push ups going fast, 89 going slow, 96 nonstop and 137 in less than 2 minutes but when it comes to female push ups I can only do 60 going fast, 57 going slow, 78 nonstop and 92 in less than 2 minutes! How is that possible?
Laziness.
I found from my own experience is that I get lazy doing half range push ups. There are times when I still do half push ups, but it's rare because like Sarai said:
I take issue with every aspect of this post. 1) Full range pushups are harder BECAUSE THEY WORK YOUR FULL ROM. 2) Half Pushups may work your lower pecs but a) do any of us in this forum need more pecs? and b) why would you want to take the easy way out?
WORK HARDER DO BETTER. Make this your motto. STRIVE TO DO ONLY FULL RANGE PUSHUPS.
If you can't do push your body up, try negatives.
