Sometimes I wonder why my insomnia is so bad...

Sometimes I wonder why I think the way I do...

Sometimes I wonder why I am the way I am...

Sometimes I wonder about wandering somewhere and never coming back...

There are no American or European traceurs.  There are only traceurs.

^ That.

But I believe we all have our own style and how we train.

If your looking for a bike, head down to your local shop (not wal-mart...) and take a look. And talk to and employee there. Generally if the sell some good quality BMX bikes they tend to know good about them. If not look online. One of my fav sites to find parts are at www.danscomp.com they sell parts, cloths, and full bikes.

Also what kind of riding do you want to learn? street? dirt? flatland? Because if you have a certain type of riding you want to learn, it can be easier if you get a bike made for it. If you want to dabble in multiple styles then just find a light weight street bike for starting.

As for tricks that depends on the style of riding too. But basics the 180 barspin, the bunny hop/J-Hop, the manual (a wheelie that lasts a while), these are the sheer basics for all styles. Learn them.

Basically all that.
