Diet / Goals for November diet advice

I posted a thread about my goal for Youmacon in November so if anyone needs reference It's the same title and shouldnt be difficult to find. Im posting here because I thoroughly believe that Ill achieve the body for the cosplay by proper diet and nutrition. That being said I've been working on fixing my diet up and eating properly, abs are made in the kitchen after all. I dont have any direction in my diet I am just trying to shift to eating whole foods chock full of fruits and vegetables. I'd love any advice on what foods I should be focusing on for the weight gain im gonna need for this goal and any recipes you guys are using now. If there are any powders of supplements I should look out for let me know that as well, thanks in advance guys!

Hey guys hows it goin? So this year my friends have convinced me that i should go to Youmacon with them. you know. one of those anime/comic/videogame convention things. Anyway i figured since 'im going i might as well do it up and cosplay as well. I was going through some ideas and I settled on this  http://matteomazzali.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/asura_-0000.jpg  (yes i realize this is a videogame) so this is Asura from the game Asura's Wrath and I really liked the game and what not and i figured  if im gonna cosplay anyone, i would do him thing is, just want to have the body art or hair, i want to have the same physical condition.  So from viewing the picture, you guys can obviously tell Asura is pretty big and strong and I fully realize that I may not get the look exactly i really just want to get as close as i can to the same shape and condition as possible in the short amount of months that i have.
 
 I have already been going to the gym steadily but I can already tell this is going to take more than the strength training I've been doing. from the looks of it Im going to have to put on some weight and muscle too. Getting in the same cardio condition isnt going to be difficult for me. In fact i already know exactly what i'm going to do in that respect. However weight lifting and dieting are still things I'm learning and thats why I decided to make this thread. SO if i want any real hep i might as well tell you guys what Ive been doing so far and my weight and such.

My current weight right now is 191 and im 100% positive that most of it is water weight considering i don't eat very much throughout the day.

I workout with my best friend on mondays, wednesdays, and fridays and our workout consists of beginner strength training workout involving Bench Press, Chest Press, Squats, Deadlifts, Chin/Pull Ups and Rows. All of the cardio i do, I do on my own though.

I dont know how much help I'lll get here but Ive been on the forums for a long time and I trust Chris, Steve and Joe's opinions as well as Alec and the others. I'd be happy to post pics and stuff and any help, advice, encouragement you guys  give will be greatly appreciated. I'd like to know what workouts I should be doing to help me buk up a bit and ill post in the DIet section for food advice. Thanks in advance everyone.

Diet / A wrestler in need of guidance

mmmk so as the title says, I wrestle. I love it. Anyway my plan was to not anything and let my body feed off my extra fat depoits, then I would simply put some weight back on in muscle. However this is starting to seem like a increasingly bad idear. ( yes I meant to do that ) so my APK borthers, what diet should I follow so that I can keep the weight off but in a safer way. I like my meat and I like my veggies and I really liek all natural foods too. Any help is appreciated.

So Wrestling fo rme starts tomorrow. I am very very unexcited and not looking forward to it. Since I'm going to do it anyway, I was just wondering if there are exercises I should stay away from, or machines in the weight room I should avoid so it doesnt effect me negatively when I go out and do some parkour/free running/tricking.

I have finally started back liftin weights regularly and was gonna get a jump on my myofibrillar hypertrophy training. When I last made a thread I noticed 1RM reocurring over and over again and I have no clue what it means or how it works. Would anyone be so kind as to explain it to me?

MMMMMMK so what are some really wierd things you've mixxed together foodwise that taste heavenl???. Also what are some really weird things you put on your food that taste freakin amazing???

OK ME FIRST ME FIRST!!!!! :D so I like to put A1 steak sauce, syrup, and brown sugar on my hot dogs and hamburgers when my dad grills them. There's more I just cant remember. I'll post when it comes back to me. ^_^

General Fitness / Myofibrillar Hypertrophy Training.

I have no interest in increasing the size of my muscles, however I do wish to increase the strength. I've done some research so I know the number of reps required, however I dont know what workouts to do. I'm no beginner at this, I just need to know what I should be doing.

Injuries - Discussion / severe injuries

i broke my wrist pretty badly falling out of a tree ( i was going up the tree and the branch i grabbed snapped and i fell with little to no time to react) anyway my mom has restricted me to absolutely nothing but school til it heals. to make matters worse i had surgery done last week. i cant do MMA, nor can i participate they way i want to for winter sports ( wrestling), and little to none training for six effin weeks. my question is this, have any of you guys had any pretty bad injuries while training or having fun? whatd you do to pass the time? did you still train and do parkour/ free running?

what activities/ sports do you participate in to help you get better at parkour/ freerunning?

i do martial arts, wrestling, soccer, and track this keeps me in top physical condition and especially with track can help me with certain things i struggle on as far as my training is concerned

just got the shoes i ordered  and they are white/bronze color and they are absolutely astounding. they are lightweight excellent cushioning and so fun to fun to run in
