this a little off topic but i was wondering how you guys keep the ear phones in your ears when you run?  :-\(weird question)

I wear my headphones sometimes under my shirt and put the execess wire in my pocket.
Another trick I use is i some time put my headphones comeing through my back, so i have nothing in frount of me to get pulled on.
sometimes i run my head phones through under my shirt comeing through the back :P

another way it to get head phones that wrap around your ear instead of ear bud head phones:

Wednesday June 3rd

     
1.     apk worm up
2.     WOD
3.     handstand- worked on my handstands, worked on getting into a handstand from a standing position without using momentum                                (don't know how to explain it but you see it in a lot of videos when people do handstands on rails)
4.     100 pushups
5.     100 dips
6.     40 squats
7.     worked on kong vault- did ground kongs to work on bringing my hips up
8.     15 pullups

Twilight? Are you serious? A terrible book made into a worse movie beats out THE DARK FREAKING KNIGHT. What has this world come to?

Tuesday May 2nd

i was slaking today



1. 50 push ups
2. 50 dips
3. 15 pull ups
4. worked on muscle ups ( getting a lot better )
5. worked on vaults over rails



I built myself a box type thing it like the ones gymnasts use except its made of plywood so i can work on my vault in my backyard instead of going to town

Sunday May 31st
      Rest Day ;D

Monday June 1st

1. APK warm up
2. Jogged a mile
3. worked on my turn vault
4. did 50 regular push ups (not at once)
5. 20 alligator pushups (not sure what you call them)
6. did 100 dips (not at once)
7. 15 pullups (not at once)
8. tried the kong vault ( didn't go so well i can't bring my hips high enough :-\)
9. worked on cat balance( im getting a lot better at it  :D)
10. did 20 squats

I reached my 5 pull up goal!! :):D;D

Saturday May 30th

Surprisingly my wrist feels a lot better today.
Today i did go to the dog park, i worked on my vaults for about an hour
Then when i got home i went to the park and worked 30 min on catwalk
I also worked on persition and balance on the railroad tracks that go right through the park(really weird)
i also worked on muscle ups-> they are my biggest weakness.<-
jogged a couple blocks  and went to work on gate vault, i don't know why i'm bugging out about it. I need to get to a gym and practice it there
did some pull ups when i got home, 4 sets of 3, my muscles are really tired from that but thats good i guess

Friday may 29th

Friday i mainly worked on vaults. i've been working on the gate vault for a while now. I'm trying to actually flip over when i'm doing it. Its not going to good. i just can't get myself to flip over. I also worked on monkey vault over rails. I have trouble getting distance with them especially on rails. I did some pull ups and so far im up to 3 at a time so only two more to go. I hurt my wrist some how and can't really do any push ups or dips or anything because it hurts when i put pressure on it in that position. I'm not going to do anything to stress it too much. The funny thing is that it only hurts when i bend it back or forward.
Tomorrow i'm going out of town and going to go this dog park which has concrete toobs (sp) they are all different sizes which is awesome and its going to be a lot of fun training on them.

I didn't do much today, mostly conditioning

100 dips( with rests)
did a lot of different kinds of push ups to work different muscles (20 each)
10 pullups ( with rests)
worked on my balance by walking on my local park fence(unfortunately i got kicked off :-[)
i did some sprints , two 400s, four 200s and six 100s
worked on turn vault

I started this training log to help keep track of what i'm doing
the reason i started parkour is because of the discipline, philosophy and it just looks awesome
I've been training on and off for about 5 month, but now that school is out i will take training more serious
I live in a small town of about 800 people, so it gets pretty boring. I also train alone since there is no one near me.
Never really did any gymnastics except at home walking on my hands

BODY TYPE: athletic

GOALS
1. do 10 handstand push ups
2. do 5 7 10 pull ups(at once)
3. run a mile in less then 8 min
4. do 50 pushups without stopping
5. perfect cat balance
6. perfect kong vault
8. get better at dash vault



Things i'm going to work on today

APK warm up
todays WOD
100 push ups (25 at a time)
reps of pull ups (3 at a time)
work on muscle ups
work on cat balance
work on persition
