Hell yeah Matt  ;D
That was the concept that was sent to UA. One of the reps posted that it would be the chosen concept. Hopefully that goes through. The guy who made the concept is amazing  :-Sarcasm

You bring a sleeping bag/pillow/etc. and we're all just gonna sleep in the rec hall of the church. It's a huge room so we'll be able to fit anyone who decides to come.

They're actually really nice shoes from what I've heard. One of my friends won a pair in the give away and them seemed really nice.
I'd definitely go with them over the Ariake. But I've heard they aren't going to be released. That's only what I've heard though. All I remember is Ez had a shit load of them and were giving them out as give aways.  :-\

We're affiliated with Under Armor so this isn't new news to us.
The "prototype" is going to be a great shoe. More of an all-around type of shoe though.

Under Armor is also releasing their "2008 performance running shoe"
The concept was created by Tony Hardman who also released the Puma 'XUVIA' (parkour shoe) concept.

Between the prototype and the performance running shoe, I'd personally say go with the performance when it comes out. The prototype has aspects of each thing in each shoe. Each once can be used for something different, where as the performance running is a bit more well-rounded.

Here's the article on our site about the performance running shoe:

I've heard that Puma is comeing out with a "freerunning shoe" thanks to the help of 3Run attending the Puma convintion. After seeing what a large market they had, they were going to make a parkour/freerunning shoe as well.

Have you all heard of that?

Yes. The concept shoe is called the "XUVIA."
We have an article about it on our website since we're affiliated with Puma.

Check it out:

National Jams / PKFR USA National Jam (Pittsburgh, PA - June 13-15)
« on: January 14, 2008, 03:16:59 PM »
PKFR USA National Jam will be held in Pittsburgh, PA this year on June 13-15.

JAM SCHEDULE (SUBJECT TO CHANGE):
DAY 1 - Local Training/Training in our "Facility"
DAY 2 - Gym Training/Local Jam
DAY 3 - Downtown Jam

We have lodging space for anyone attending at the Verona Presbyterian Church.

Here is a list of things to bring:
- Money (Food, transportation, etc.)
- Clothing
- Sleeping bag, pillow, etc.
- Phone (if you have one)

DON'T BRING:
- Anything you wouldn't want lost, stolen, broken, etc.
- Drugs or Alcohol

Cameras and camcorders may be a good idea though. As long as you hold onto them at all times.

You can also bring your own food or drinks.
(We usually each pitch in for pizza or some kind of food depending on what everyone eats.)

Also, transportation is a MUST. I don't care if you drive, carpool, take a taxi, greyhound, plane, bus or a combination of them, you just need transportation here and back. Talk to me before hand so I can help you out as much as possible.

Unlike some other jams we've been to and held, we plan for this one to have very little structure. That way we can all actually have fun!

More more information contact me at syn@pkfrinternational.com, at http://myspace.com/parkourfr, or at our website at http://pkfrinternational.com

if so, I have breast cancer...... the man kind. and along the same line, cervical cancer..... again, the man kind.

Wait are you serious??
Hahahahaha...
Oh, I mean. I'm sorry to hear that Skipper...
I hope someone, who isn't, decides to donate millions to your cause.

In the meantime, you could always donate footage to PK Donate to help feed starving children  :-Sarcasm

Not only will you be helping the children but APK and PKFR as well (just for the fact our names are on the video). But yeah, it's a great cause really. But seriously...
The founder of FTC is really creepy. HAHAHA.
Not to be mean, he just scares me.

Parkour And Freerunning / Re: PK Donate - Looking for help with the project
« on: November 20, 2007, 07:21:24 AM »
We're hoping to have most of the footage in by mid-spring. We will still be accepting it after that though. The project probably won't be launched publicly until almost summer '08 unless we get loads of people to send in footage.
