Women / Fitness level?
« on: January 25, 2013, 11:45:04 AM »
So...I'm just throwing this out there.  I'm struggling with the physical aspect of parkour, and was just wondering how many of the ladies out there do it.  How fast would you suggest running a mile, how many squats, pushups, etc?  Just stuff like that.

Any help would be appreciated .

Hey! Thanks for checking up on me.  Right now, I'm in a rut.  I'm not that motivated and everything.  So I have decided to train with my friend and see where we go from there.  I'm struggling with the fitness level and whatnot.

Hey everyone! You can call me Falcon.  I'm a total newbie, a girl, and kind of intimidated...but I'm really trying to stay motivated and everything.  So, here's luck to me!

Seeing as we live in two separate states, I don't think that will be much of a problem.   ;)

Thank you so much for those tips!  I really appreciate it!  I find push-ups and pull-ups extremely challenging, but I am going to continue working on those.  Thank you for your advice.

And I'm just looking for tips.  I'm a girl, so I was rather intimidated to actually start in the first place.  But I'm finally getting out there and would love some advice.  What workouts are good for starting out?
Thanks so much.

And I feel very intimidated sometimes, as parkour is mainly male-domiated.  I'm just beginning, so any tips/tricks that you could help me with?  I'd be very grateful.

Hey!  I'm new to parkour too, and I'm kind of lost.  It seems like such a male-dominated sport, and it's kind of intimidating.  Any tips would be appreciated!
