General Fitness / Help with flexibility
« on: April 09, 2012, 10:45:49 AM »
Hey guys,

I recently tried to do aerials but the problem is that I am very stiff.
I could really use a flexibility/split training programme or exercises and tips on flexibility in general.

Shoulder pain is easily solved with tucking more.
Hip is a bit harder because you need to change your angle of exit.

I have a problem like Mercury and I watched many video about Roll Tutorial but I never do it right. Can anyone help me, tell me which part of the body hit the ground first because I always hit my shoulder on the ground first.

The solution is simple.Use your hands on the back of the shoulder and not the top. Also, tuck more.

Haters gonna hate. That's all

People usually take a glance at you and move on but there are always douchebags who annoy you or ask you to do a flip. I hate that. If I train, I train for myself not for anybody else.

You can't learn how to roll overnight. It takes a lot of practice. Someone may get it in a month someone may get in a year.
A lot of beginners want to start on concrete and they fail which takes away a lot of motivation.
One more thing. Check this video out.

Jesus, Superman and Chuck Norris head to the lake.
Jesus being Jesus starts walking on the water.
Superman tries but he fails.
Chuck Norris tries and of course he suceeds.

Later on Jesus asks Chuck Norris:"Should we tell him where the rocks are??"
Chuck Norris:"What rocks?!!"

Another one:

A boy calling 911:"Hello help me!Two girls are fighting for me!"
Operator:"Whats wrong with that?"
Boy:"The ugly one is winning"

A bear and and a rabbit caught a golden fish.
The golden fish said:"Each of you can make 3 wishes"
The bear went first:I want every tree in this forest to become female bears.
Golden fish:"Done"
So the bunny said: I want a helmet
Golden fish:"Done"
Bear's turn: I want that all the trees in the country to become female bears.
Golden fish:"Done"
Bunny's 2nd wish: I want a motorbike
Bear's 3rd wish:I want that all the female bears to love ME!
Golden fish:"Done"
Bunny's 3rd wish:I want bear to become gay.
Golden fish:"Done"
Bunny starts the motorbike and drives away

I want to buy a pair of KO shoes by wfpf but there is a small problem. The customs will tax me as almost high as the shoe value itself.But......If the shoes are sent as a gift I do not get taxed by customs. I've sent wfpf numeruous questions about this(via their store site, twitter and facebook) but I haven't got any answer. If you know anyone that could help me about this please let me know.BTW I am from Slovenia.

I did not know where to put this so mods feel free to move my topic elsewhere.

Movement / Re: Roll Pain Thread (Sorry)
« on: November 15, 2011, 07:02:48 AM »
the trick is to really submit yourself to the technique. Do not just let your body fall into the ground, you must dive into it. Hit it with the back of your shoulder. You should also work your back muscles to help absorving the impact, that means lost of pull ups to imrpoves your Lats and teres major.

I was about to make a thread about this....

So the question is are back muscles really important.I think I roll "properly" but it still hurts.Any ideas???

The key is to keep experimenting with different stances, angles and so on.

And as always: Practice makes perfect
