Reposting in National because people from well out of state come to this convention.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
P.S Sorry it took me so long to post, I'll be sure to bring extra water for everyone. My bad guys! ^^;
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's that time of year again, the anime convention known as Otakon is only a few weeks away and you know that means, another Otaku Parkour Jam!

Last years Otaku Jam was a HUGE success with a good number of people showing up (around at least 30), along with a few interested people just joining in and tagging along. Here we go again for the 5th year in a row!

To name a few of the great spots we jammed at: The Skywalk network and the buildings surrounding them,  the planters in front of the Sheraton, Propeller antics in front of the Baltimore Aquarium all along with a SWEET fountain that reminds one of the infamous Skyline park in Denver, CO.

Otakon this year is being held once again at he good ol' Baltimore Convention Center on July 27th through 29st.

I figure we'll meet at the same time, same place as last year: Saturday July 28st at 11am Under the Skywalk(for shade purposes!), next to the steps leading up to it at the edge of the Convention Center. Only one end of the convention center has a skywalk connected to it so it shouldn't be too hard to find(the other side is just a bridge connecting to the new Hilton). Here is my phone number if anyone has any questions, or needs help finding us if they're late or lost: 443-851-5936

P.S. All are welcome to attend, being an anime/video game nerd like us is not a requirement. See you all there guys!

The Jam is next Saturday at the Baltimore Convention Center. There is a thread named "Otaku Jam" in the main mid atlantic section. Check there for all the details.

Bump.

It's only 1 week away guys! EXCITEMENT :-Sarcasm

13
BUMP BUMP BUMP.

ONE WEEK.

Ah good to see you're coming RPG. I'm starting to get a little worried since I'm not getting alot of responses here on APK.

14
If you come in costume I *highly* recommend you make it a parkour functional version. Or at least bring a bag so that you can hop into a hotel bathroom and change if need be.

Last year we had a few in costume and it seemed to work okay, just keep in mind that it's still a full on hardcore parkour jam session.

POSTED. SORRY IM A LAZY OTAKU.

P.S. lol

I know that people from all over the country come to Baltimore, Maryland for Otakon because it is currently the second largest con in the country for Anime with closing on 30,000 paid attendees. Therefore I decided that I should probably post this in the National section as well as the Mid-Atlantic.

It's that time of year again, the anime convention known as Otakon is only a two month away and you know that means, another Otaku Parkour Jam!

Last years Otaku Jam was a HUGE success with a good number of people showing up (around at least 30-40), along with a few interested people just joining in and tagging along. I decided since it worked out so well it would be great to do it again for a 4th year in a row.

To name a few of the great spots we jammed at: The Skywalk network, the buildings surrounding them, the planters in front of the Sheraton, all along with a SWEET fountain that reminds one of the infamous Skyline park in Denver, CO.

Otakon this year is being held once again at he good ol' Baltimore Convention Center on July 30th through August 1st.

I figure we'll meet at the same time, same place as last year: Saturday July 31st at 11am under the Skywalk(for shade purposes!), next to the steps leading up to it connected to the BCC. Only one end of the convention center has a Skywalk connected to it so it shouldn't be too hard to find (the other side is connected to the new Hilton). Here is my phone number if anyone has any questions, or needs help finding us if they're late or lost: 443-851-5936

P.S. All are welcome to attend, being an anime/video game nerd like us is not a requirement. Hope to see you all there again this year!

I want to believe this is possible to some degree so hard. I'm definitely going to give it a go once the water warms up in my area. Their stuff is likely BS on getting like 10 "steps" but if I can even get only a small few like 3 it would be good enough for me.

The thing that really makes it fake for me more than anything else is their complete lack of explaining the technique of how do to this stuff. I think if you are starting a new sport/movement it would make sense that you at least explain the basics of how to perform it.
