About 14, 15 years ago I was standing in line with a kid in kindergarten who had no fingers on his hands, but balls, or fists, for hands. We had a conversation and the end result is me wanting to be useful. I had no idea what Parkour was but over time as I grew up I knew I wanted to do something just like this, but couldn't seem to find it. It felt like chasing a ghost. Eventually I found some videos on youtube for free running, looked more into it, and found APK as a result. I've been interested in Parkour for about a year now. From APK I learned about LVPK and linked with the community in mid June this year. Now I plan to practice regularly while attending college.

Well, I've never been good at intros.. I'm Mike, and new to parkour. I've been interested in Parkour for about a year now, but never had the means to try it as I always thought it was 'Hardcore'! Now that I know what it is, it's been a blast seeing and doing some of this, from the research to training; as well as the idea of jams. It looks like smooth sailing on the forums, and it feels great to be here.
