General Fitness / Re: Training with P90X and Parkour...
« on: April 21, 2010, 09:19:51 AM »
hey man i know exactly where you are. heres my input. DO P90X to its entirety. When i say that i mean do the workouts they tell you do for those days. NO MORE NO LESS. but at the same time if you wanna go train skip the p90x workout for that day and go train & have fun. YOU WILL SEE RESULTS. i do insanity and i have completed it 2x, dropped 50 pounds, got a six pack & got ripped. P90X knows what its doing. and for nutrition? you want protein, carbohydrates, and fats. that doesnt mean going to mcdonalds and getting a quarter pounder with cheese. For high protein i suggest tuna, cod, salmon, whitefish, lean turkey, lean chicken breast. NO RED MEATS. Carbohydrates i suggest whole grain bread, baked potatoes, brown wild rice, granola, vegetables, & fruits. For fats i suggest nuts: Walnuts, almonds, peanuts (peanut butter, almond butter work very well) and alot of the above foods in the protein have GREAT sources of natural fat. This diet DOES WORK and will help you in becoming stronger. try to eat as wholesome & organic as possible at all times. EAT VEGETABLES AND FRUITS AT EVERY MEAL and you will be healthier, happier, and stronger then ever =D if you have any questions feel free to email me @ alexduenas91@gmail.com =D good luck and keep at it!

a good way too work on your rolls is to remember to almost tuck your shoulder in right before it contacts the ground to make sure the shoulder is curved making the roll smooth... Also just believe in yourself and also you might want to record your training to see where mistakes are =) hope this helps
