I guess it might be a practice thing?

I just have a lot of trouble judging take-off points in the dark.

Parkour And Freerunning / Night Parkour -- (depth perception)
« on: November 10, 2009, 05:57:10 PM »
Hey guys,

I know it's not generally advisable to jam at night, but just to cover all my bases, I sometimes do a little night parkour.

One major problem that I run into is that my depth perception in lower-light settings is pretty bad.
I know a bunch of tips to increase general seeing ability, but they don't do much for my depth perception.

Is there any way to make this better?

Maryland / Silver Spring Metro JAM! (10/11)

Hello everybody!

The College Parkour (of UMD) is having a jam in Silver Spring this Sunday (10/11) at 1pm.
We'll be meeting at the Silver Spring Metro Station, and moving to Zen park after 30 minutes - an hour.
We'd really like to get integrated into the larger PK community, so we'd love it if you could come out.

Come on out and jam!

Maryland / Silver Spring Metro -- dead spot?
« on: October 04, 2009, 05:42:25 PM »
Hey guys,
I'm planning a field trip for my college parkour club, and I heard a rumor that the Silver Spring Metro stop had been patrolled/posted for no parkour.

Do any of you guys know if this is true or not?
I'd hate to plan our first field trip of the year, just to get asked to leave within the first few minutes.

Also, Zen Park is still cool to jam at, right?

Hello all!

College Parkour, the unofficial Parkour club at the University of Maryland (College Park), will be having it's first weekly meeting this friday (9/11) at 5pm.
Please meet on the street side of Denton Hall.
All are welcome, especially UMD students.

Also, you can check out our facebook group if you'd like to stay updated:

Hope to see you there.
