Consumer Whores / Solomon Hiking shoes
« on: January 25, 2012, 01:49:54 PM »
I met an old friend the other day that my dad use to trail run with in the military  and he does a ton of hiking. anyways, I did a 13 mile hike with him and he had a pair of shoes on that I asked him about. He told me that he had about 350 trail miles on them and he's had them for a couple of years. I asked to see the tread on them and they still had a ton of good tread as well as being in good shape, both shoes combined weighed in at about 1 lb. the only negative that I saw is that their price range is between 100-140 bucks, here's a zappos link to a bunch of the different models, http://www.zappos.com/salomon-men-sneakers-athletic-shoes/CK_XARC81wFSAuMEwAEC4gIEGAECCg.zso what do you guys think?

Is there any traceurs here who are actually police officers? I would think that it would be a good idea if some of us joined the force, that would even the odds a bit, (just an idea, if you don't like it don't hate lol)

Mine's to start training again on a regular basis, relearn the backflip and wallflip, ( I stopped training for about 2 months, just so much going on, but I went to train last week and I noticed that in some things I had actually improved, I just lost a lot of fitness, felt like crap the next couple of days lol)

that's cool, I'll probably arrive sometime in the beginning of september so maybe we'd be able to do some training together.

Awesome man! When are you moving down?
probably sometime next august or september, I'm gonna be trying to get a summer job at a camp in colorado and from there I'll be heading down there for the fall semester (I may have not stated it too clearly, I meant to say that I'm going to college in pensacola but not actually to UWF, I'll be going to one that's about 7 miles south of there.

Parkour And Freerunning / Re: Dangers of Barefoot Parkour

I was playing tag football with my brothers the other day at a condo in the main yard, the people had just spread a ton of dirt around the yard to help the grass grow a bit but anyways, we were playing barefoot and all of a sudden my younger brother saw a piece of glass, then I saw one and as we looked around, the whole yard was covered with it, I have no idea how none of us got hurt, we went around and picked up all the glass we could find but needless to say we were a bit more cautious after that.

Theres a plane thats about to crash and only one man can stay on the plane. There are no parachutes for the guys who have to jump. There is a British man, a French man, a mexican, and an American. The British guy is the first to volunteer to jump. He yells "GOD SAVE THE QUEEN" and then falls to his death. The French man saw this and thought he would do the right thing and give his life up for someone else so he yells " VIVA LA FRANCE" and jumps to his death. Then the American steps up and yells "REMEMBER THE ALAMO" and shove the Mexican out of the plane.

Sorry to any hispanics who may be reading this.
lol I may be American but I've lived my whole life in Mexico so I don't really know how to react to this one.
