Hey guys, don't know where to start but i'll just go... Me and my cousin usually team up when we do parkour or free running. I live right beside UNCC. Which is i must say is Parkour heaven!!! Well usually we go and practice on our own. But last night, me and my cousin met with some people around campus who is also involve with parkour. Sean showed up first, we was at the spot called the wall. He told me that Cliff and the other traceur went uptown and they don't have the meeting on campus anymore because they ran into some trouble, so they moved the meeting to uptown charlotte. Speaking of which i love uptown Charlotte this is parkour paradise there is not a place in the city where you can't vault, kong, roll, precision, balance, cat leaps etc. But back at campus for the next 3 hrs he showed us some of their spots of where they practice. WE got to show him our skills and he was quite impressed. It was funny because Sean said most guys just come and jump off stuff. lol. Well for true Traceurs, this wasn't our goal. We came to gain more knowlede on the world of parkour. Gain we did,i think the hardest part of the session was on the hard part,(pun) Rolling on concrete felt funny. Although i can do it perfectly from high jumps and on grass.

What should be my motivation? Me and my cousin are both beginners and we were practicing on getting onto the roof of gis house (kind of low) He has great upper body strength since he been working out since he was 12 and now 16 you can see how easy for him to get up there. But whenever i try he always rushing me by saying hurry up, or i'm going to leave you. What type of motivation is that?!!?!?!? But anyway my main focus and motivation wil all come from the Miroor's edge game. It a great game and it bascially how i got started.

Ooh, Mirror's Edge.. good game. But, in my opinion, I don't think that it's a good idea to get your motivation from a game. Especially Mirror's Edge. First off, it involves running away from tha PO PO (not a good message to others about parkour). Second, it's just a game. Once you warm up to the idea then you'll lose your motivation. And third... yeah, nevermind I kinda forgot my third point. This all is just my opinion though: not a good idea to get motivation from a game.

Hmm. yeah  i understand but what should be my motivation? All i really want to do is just explore the world of parkour. That all.

Hey guys!! My name is Troy and i've been practicing parkour for about a week now. On the 3rd day i did my first cat leap and rolled at the end of my drop. (Boy that was pretty!) i'm also focusing more on my landing and vaults which i haven't quite mastered yet. I have not yet to start tic-tacs or cranes but i'll get there. I'm also trying to learn hot to wall run up the wall and grab to the ledge. I'm having a few problems but hopely you guys can help me out. Thanks and i think i'm going to love being a traceur.
