Pics & Vids / Energy Drink Commercial
« on: January 15, 2010, 10:10:11 AM »
Hey guys, my friends and I recently featured in a commercial for Xe Energy drink.  It was a lot of work with the cold weather and snowy conditions, but overall an incredible amount of fun filming out there.  Check it out and enjoy!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7MBn1XhaG4

If you could please pass it on.  The distributor of the energy drink in our area entered the video into a contest, to which he'll reap the rewards if won.  We (Team Momenta) our looking solely for exposure and support from the parkour and freerunning communities.  Our goal is to travel the world and instill change through the challenging of misconceptions and stereotypes through the love of movement that is freerunning.  It's becoming apparent as cultures all around the world are uniting together under this one discipline and we look forward to extending our hand.

Thanks a lot guys and check us out for more information at http://www.teammomenta.com  Peace!

-Nick

oh and btw, the drink isn't too bad ;)

Pics & Vids / Re: Purdue Freerunning - First video of the year

I'm wearing a white tshirt in the beginning, then a black under armour with black sweat pants later on in the video... lots of fronts.  I've had stitches in my shin the last few weeks (stupid mishap) and a swollen ankle on top of things, so I haven't been doing a whole lot, just resting.  I threw some tricks and played around a bit, but only as much as I could tolerate.  Jerred, on the other hand, is the one wearing the black beater and black shorts, he's the one who scaled down the balconies in the beginning.

Just one you have your flips and tricks down but you still need lots of work.  But by far the most work that needs done is in your basic movements, vaults and transitions.

Oh trust me, you'll like the video we're working on.  This most recent video was a randomized compilation of footage.  The new one is fast paced and organized.

Pics & Vids / Purdue Freerunning - First video of the year
« on: April 27, 2008, 05:30:45 PM »
As some of you may know, we had some trouble with the authoritative staff of Purdue earlier this year, but we pushed forward and continued practicing what we love.  We put together a video of our most recent footage from the last month and we're pretty excited to finally release it along side our newly developed team name, Momenta.  We have another video coming out within the next few weeks or so, and has an inspiring feel and is much more organized.  Although, it is still in the works and we haven't finished filming yet.  Alright, well here's the most recent video!  Leave any positive feedback or suggestions.  Thanks!  Peace easy!

Indiana / Re: Welcome 2 IN

I joined here a while back under the name "mr20nza" but have since dismissed my self from the affiliation towards MR2s on non-car forums.  In short, I made this simple name.  Not a big deal, I only had a couple posts on the previous name.

I'm Nick.  I'm originally from the north side of Indianapolis.  I'm up here in West Lafayette at Purdue.  I'm in my senior year here, but I've still got another year left after this.
