Movement / Help with front flip
« on: April 30, 2014, 05:43:18 AM »
Okay, so I've been trying to land a front flip from the ground, but I always land on my butt. I'm not really sure wether or not I tuck, I can't tell. I don't think I'm jumping high enough. I can do a flip off of something at least about a foot and a half tall, but I don't jump that high on that either. I kind of just fall forward. It's like I grab the back of my left knee, roll forward in midair. And land. I CAN jump and do it, but I've gotten used to just "falling", so it feels weird. Any advice?

Name:Reuben Morris

Area: Whitesville, just outside of Owensboro

Local Group:None

About me:I started parkour in February, but right now all I can do is basic vaults, rolls, and a front flip (only when jumping off a one foot object, at least). My birthday is in a couple weeks (thus I'm about 14.96 years old). I'm not sure how I should be training, so I'm not really getting anything done right now.

Likes:parkour, blue, starwars, spiderman, video games, forests, amazing natural environments.

Dislikes: waking up too early, beans, pink

I'm a guy from Kentucky, living somewhere near Owensboro.
I started parkour a couple months ago, and I don't really know anyone to work with, so It's just been me working by myself. Pretty much all I can do right now is a front flip off of something at least a foot tall, but I'm pretty good at those!
