Ya we are hardcore Free Runners, but we like to do Parkour whenever our flips feel off so we don't get hurt.

I have an 8 year old son that is interested in learning do you know where I could take him?  Please let me know if you have any suggestions, thanks.

Beth

Beth,
a great place for him to go is http://www.deserttumbling.com/ they have parkour and free running classes for kids, or there open gym is another good place to learn. Open Gym is at 7-9. Me along with the rest of the DAFT Free Running team go to open gym on mondays and thursdays. There is always one of us there. Ryan Bruhns is the one that teaches the class for kids and is also apart of our team. He's there every Monday and Thursday. Desert Tumbling is in Peoria off of 78th ave, and deer valley.

Hope that is some help. =)

Hey everyone... so i just realized I've never posted in here lol.
Well I've only been apart of Free Running for about 8 or 9 months now. I am apart of the DAFT Free Running team with Ryan on here. I played soccer for Sereno before I started, and love everything about Parkour and Free Running.

Me and the rest of the DAFT Free Running team practice at Desert Tumbling in Peoria on Mondays and Thursdays, and go out every Sunday. Our normal spots are Tempe, Down Town PHX, and Cave Creek.

If anyone wants to join us on Sundays we would be glad for you to come along as long as you can meet us somewhere.
Call me: 480-313-1105 if you are free on sunday and want to come with.

The DAFT Free Running team has around 8 guys on it.

Arizona / Parkour Gym In Arizona
« on: January 10, 2011, 01:26:48 PM »
Hello,
Me, along with my team Daft Free Running are trying to get a parkour/ free running gym opened here in AZ. The site for the build is in Peoria, AZ. Next door to where we practice now. The landlord is willing to invest in it and just needs to see how much support for parkour and the gym there would be. Some time in the next month we will be having a parkour night at our current gym to show support for the new gym.
Let me know if anyone is interested and stay tuned for the date and location of the parkour night.
