Hey eshad-

Keep an eye out for any jams - usually people there are really helpful and friendly and willing to teach along the way. The Tuesday night jams in Rosslyn (when they happen) are pretty good for that, and I bet there will be lots of people at daedalus' jam on the 9th of October.

Hope to see you outside soon!

Hey Cyclone-

There's lots of us in that area! A lot of us train at Primal during the week, but you should check out our trip to Mt. Catoctin this Sunday, and there might be other jams outside during the week.  If you go to http://dcmetroparkour.info, there's a map of all the hotspots in the area so if you have free time and just want to go out and play, you know where to go.

Hey guys-

I've been asking our regulars, but it seems like few people have stepped up to the plate! I have only one offer, and she's requesting to host girls or an even girl-guy mix. If there's anyone out there who is looking for housing that fits the bill, hit me up! Otherwise, I'm still asking around and trying to find hosts, but so far, no dice.

Women / Any ladies going to (B)East Coast?
« on: May 25, 2010, 05:44:28 AM »
Hey all-

I'm looking forward to this weekend's (B)East Coast, and I was hoping to see a bunch of you there!

I'm helping to organize the housing (as much as I can, anyway). . . If you're thinking of coming but don't have a place to stay, a good friend and local Traceuse has offered her couch/floor for any other ladies. She lives in the city, with easy access to all the action. She's got room for 4, and a mixed group would be OK as long as there were more girls than guys.

Shoot me an email (amanda at primal dash fitness dot com) if you're interested and I'll get you in touch with her!

Mid-Atlantic / Hosting for (B)East Coast

Hey all you local traceurs/euses.

(B)East Coast, our big national jam, is right around the corner. I'm helping Skipper out with some of the logistics, and he's asked me to put out the call for local peeps who would be willing to host a couple of visitors for the weekend.  We've already had at least one person looking for a bit of floor space. If you've got room, please help us out! It's a guaranteed way to meet new people and get to know awesome traceurs from around the country.

Post here or hit me with an email (phytolith at gmail dot com) if you'd be willing to host and we can send folks your way.

Hey Jory-

Best to post within the main Mid-Atlantic forums, that's where most of us check these days.

Hey Casey-

It's not a real tragedy, just some ancient history.  Check out the explanation in the thread here: http://www.americanparkour.com/smf/index.php/topic,26433.0.html

Please please can we change the date to Sunday??  I know I'm speaking up late but - Our good friend Eugene (primal trainer extraordinaire) is leaving DC for good next week, and I'd really like to jam with him one more time. He's got plans for Saturday, so a Sunday afternoon (2pm) jam would work out really well.

well, no one seemed super interested, and the rain is supposed to pick up again, so I'm going to head home rather than back out to Gallaudet. Next time!

I had a blast at the charter school two weeks ago, and I want to go out again. Any one up for Gallaudet this coming Saturday at 2-2:30ish?

Looks like Wednesday evening might be best for me. I'm right near the arch so I think I'll hit up that area. 7pm-ish. Anyone interested?

Hey Kyle-

Sorry no one replied earlier, but most of us only check the "mid-atlantic" forums, and don't read this one. I suggest you re-post there!

No jams planned earlier? too bad!  Still, I'm guessing there are good places downtown? I'd love to get the addresses. . .

Missouri / Visiting St Louis

Hey Missouri PK-
I'm gonna be in St. Louis (downtown) for most of next week at a conference. I know I"m going to get totally bored of talks and presentations at some point, and I'll really want to go train! Is anyone gonna be in St. Louis who would want to jam with me? If not, any suggestions on good places to play?
Thanks!
Phytolith (from DC)
