Maui Hot Spots / Holua hot spot

Greg and I found this one, looks like it has a lot of potential!

Ok, so maybe the expanse of lava fields around it might be a small deterrent.....

Oh, and the fact that it's at 6000 feet elevation...

Umm, and that it's a 4 mile hike down 1000 feet of switchbacks to get to it....

Still, its an awesome rail and picnic table, with almost no one around to complain!   ;D

Consumer Whores / HD camcorder

I've been looking around, and all the camera posts here seem to be a year old or more, and since new cameras come out all the time, I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

I'm probably looking entry-level, but still want to get the most of my money. Sony has the new HDR-XR150, which has a 120G hard drive, plus can record to 2 different memory cards. It can hold 11.5 hours at highest rez (1080p) on the drve, you can get a 14 hour battery. I can't see me needing anymore than that. 25x optical, 300 digital zoom. Still pic is 3 Mpix, but I don't care so much about that. It's around $500. Oh, it's really rather tiny, too. Not like most cameras with a drive.

Someone know of a better deal? I don't mind paying a little more if the camera quality will be a big jump.

So yesterday my workout log looked like this:

I actually did some vaulting! (My first ever) I have built a rail in my backyard, but I made it too high. (Yea, 3' is too high, my brain just refuses to let me jump over that) So I lowered it to a bit above 2', and actually got some done. I started out with a safety vault, then worked my way up to something like a speed vault. I say "something like", because I was landing on the wrong foot, which of course killed any momentum. I split them up into three different 'sets' of practice, because I was getting a little winded doing them, and didn't want to get tired and screw up. Then, after a break, I went jogging for 20 mins! All this is after doing 110 crunches Tues night.

So, the word for the day is "OW".  ;D

It's a good "OW", but stairs are a bit of a challenge. LOL  I think it's time for a salt bath. I wish I had a hut tub!  :'(

Gorilla PK / Hopefully you all can help me...

Hey there, I have a new friend who has been doing Parkour for over a year, and I think he's pretty darn good. He's 6' and weighs about 215, mostly fairly dense muscle, but his body fat % could use a little work. ;D  The problem is, he thinks he's "too big" for Parkour, and it's holding him back. I've shown him aXp's recent video, and that helped a bit, but as aXp is shorter, he still thinks he's too big. He wants to get better, and thinks that dropping muscle mass will help. He has trouble with muscle ups because he has so much muscle weight. Is he right? Or can you guys point me to any videos of a true 'Gorilla', doing well at Parkour? I mean someone at least the same size as him?

Thanks in advance!
