Parkour And Freerunning / Parkour playground
« on: April 29, 2014, 10:37:11 AM »
I figured I would post this here so lots of people would be able to see and give me some advice.
As you can probably figure from the title I am looking and building a parkour playground where I live (Hattiesburg, MS. If that helps) because there is absolutely nothing for young people to do around here. Once upon a time I wanted to start a gym but as time progressed I figured that a playground would be more effective.
Now I know that I have to go to city hall and speak with the city council and all that fun stuff, but would getting the media behind me help? Or would getting the gym I work at behind me help more? Heck or even both!
But any ideas on how to raise the money and get the city to see it as worth while would be great!
Thanks guys!

Mississippi / Group training session at USM on Nov 25
« on: November 18, 2012, 05:26:52 PM »
On November 25th I'm working to have a group training session with my team at USM in Hattiesburg. I would really enjoy it though if several people could come out and train with us and hang out afterwards. All levels are welcome to come and train and have a good time. I beilieve most of us will be on the campus around 1:30 pm and we will be meeting up at the courtyard behind the library. Odds are we will stay until we get tired and then go get a bite to eat or catch a movie.
If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Hope to see you there!

Mississippi / MsGulfcoastParkour
« on: May 28, 2010, 04:54:33 AM »
my girlfriend and i have just gotten a website up and running for the parkour community down here. so if you're in the Hattiesburg, Wiggins, Gulfport, or Biloxi area then check the site out. we're going to add more too it as it grows, such as jam dates, meet ups for training, trips etc...

if we really work at it, we can start to expand the parkour community down here, and get more people interested in training.
here's to making this work out great lol

oh also, if you see anything that may need changing then please let us know and we'll get on it ASAP.

but like i said, check us out at

hope to see you all sooner than later.

Consumer Whores / Oakley shoes?
« on: October 27, 2009, 11:04:59 AM »

now i was skeptical at first but the more i look at em, the more i think i may wanna try em out.
the soles have this stuff called Unobtainium rubber, it's oakleys special rubber compound that grips like crazy when it's wet or dry.
i know a bit about oakley and i know that they only make high quality items. so... i was wanting to get some thoughts, do you think they'd work out with training?

Mississippi / gulport and all of the coast
« on: April 20, 2009, 12:38:48 PM »
so little by little the parkour scene down here in gulfport is starting to grow. i know it'd be better if there was more to train on here, but i'm not complaining lol. at the moment there's myself and two others who train with me, but i'm still looking for a few more people to train with. it doesn't matter what skill level you are, all that matters is if you wanna go out and have fun. i'm trying to set up weekly scouting runs all over the coast to find new places to train, so far i've found a couple of good spots.

you can reach me either on here via message, at my email (i check it about 2 times a day) or on myspace
