Parkour / How to kong/monkey/cat pass something on an angle
« on: April 04, 2015, 10:29:19 PM »
Hello everybody,
I'm decent at kong vaults but I remember seeing this video and someone konged a vault that was sloping downwards. I've tried this, but I can only do it if it's sloping slightly. I tried doing it a bit further but I keep clipping one of my feet. Sorry if this is a bit vague. Anyway, something else I want to know is if it's be more effective to do a different vault instead, and if so, which one. If you have any questions, feel free to ask

Movement / Muscle-up to Kong?
« on: March 01, 2015, 03:24:45 PM »
I was watching this video: and around the start (I'm at school so I can't really see exactly when he does) he does a muscle-up to the bar and then puts his feet through, kind of like a monkey or a kong. Two things: Is there a name for this and can anyone tell me how to do this or link me to a video.

Movement / Backwards jump.
« on: December 20, 2014, 05:27:01 PM »
I remember seeing this in a Parkour video by David Belle, but I couldn't find it. Anyway, so basically he jumped backwards pretty far, and I just want to know how I could go about doing this. Any tutorials?

Parkour / I think it's called the Dash Drop
« on: December 12, 2014, 11:56:46 PM »
I was watching a Parkour video and I saw someone drop from a platform, but he put his hands on the platform like he was performing a Dash vault. I watched Kyle's tutorial on the Kash vault but they weren't the same thing. Similar, except the first person mentioned dropped straight down. Anyway, so I want to know the proper name for this and if there are any tutorials. Thank you, and if you need more info on this, just ask.

Freerunning / Front flip on ground
« on: December 11, 2014, 12:50:45 AM »
Hey y'all. I'm trying to improve my freerunning vocabulary, and I figured the front flip would be good. I can do one on the trampoline without needing to bounce, and I can do a railflip vault and I can sort of do a handspring if that's a good progression for the front flip. Anyway, so I'm pretty sure I can do a frontflip from the ground, but I'll admit, I'm scared to death everytime I want to do one, even if it's on a soft surface. Anyway, so I desperately need help with this and if you have some ideas but need more information, jut ask

Movement / Turning on a bar
« on: December 06, 2014, 03:09:37 PM »
Does anyone know any tutorials for swinging to another bar side on? I don't know if there's an actual name for it. An if there are no tutorials, how about your own experience?

Freerunning / Can't rotate with the backflip
« on: November 07, 2014, 09:25:32 PM »
I can do a front flip from standing on the trampoline but when I try to do the back flip I have lots of trouble, and it's not because I'm hesitating or scared to do it. I really try but a lot of times I'll land on my upper back. Advice?

Pics & Vids / GoPro chest mount vs head mount
« on: October 23, 2014, 02:09:40 AM »
A simple question, just curious which one would be better for parkour (and maybe a bit of freerunning and tricking if I can), the chest mount or the head mount for the GoPro and why. Or any other ways to shoot POVs?

Parkour / Left handed lazy vault
« on: October 08, 2014, 12:49:24 AM »
Ok, so I can't do a right handed lazy vault easily enough, but I can barely do a left handed lazy vault. Some help, please?

Parkour / How to travel further with your kong (kong to precision)
« on: September 06, 2014, 12:50:06 AM »
Okay, so I can't do a kong to level precision at all, but if if i'm going back to the ground, I could reach about half a metre. I really want to do the kong to level precision. Also, would it help me with the diving kong?

Parkour And Freerunning / Synchronized Parkour
« on: August 10, 2014, 03:10:45 AM »
How to do Synchronized Parkour? I'm not really good at doing it with my brother. Any questions please ask. Note; I really want to do this and video it

Parkour / Dash vault-straight legs
« on: July 30, 2014, 01:00:31 AM »
Hello! I know that a lot of people are saying that when doing the dash vault, it's not mandatory to keep your legs straight, but I notice the top traceurs do have straight legs.So anyway, I just need some advice on how to keep my legs straight, cos currently my heels will hit the ledge, and if they don't, I usually don't completely pass the vault, so I think in this case, I will need to be more flexible with my legs.
