Tricking / Learning the corkscrew
« on: November 05, 2014, 12:58:10 PM »
I have a pretty decent j-step and btwist and now I want to learn the cork. I can go to a gym once a week, but I want to train my cork outside of the gym, so my choices are trampoline, grass and sand( and any other suggestions). So how would I go about doing this, I feel like I'll hurt myself doing it on grass so what are your guys' suggestions? Where did you learn it?

How do you train for height drops? Do you just slowly increase height? Also what weight lifting weights would be best and how heavy should you be able to do then in comparison to weight like a percentage? I'm talking about doing a hand slap landing from a height twice your own. Like this:

Consumer Whores / Best Backpack for parkour?
« on: October 01, 2014, 04:45:41 PM »
Just looking for a backpack that fits snugly to the body without swaying or moving around. Heard about the FastBreak Aerial packs being really good. Price isn't a huge deal hear; mainly looking for something that will carry keys, phone, water bottle, clothes, wallet, etc. and is possible to roll on.

Parkour And Freerunning / Flipping on concrete
« on: September 28, 2014, 08:07:17 PM »
I've got the side flip and backflip down pretty consistently and I want to start doing them on concrete to put them in actual use. Does it hurt landing incorrectly on concrete?  How did you guys overcome this fear?

Parkour / How long does it take to perfect the parkour roll?
« on: July 12, 2014, 07:05:49 AM »
I'm new to parkour and I'm just getting the hang of the dive roll on the grass, but whenever i do a crouching or standing roll on the concrete I get a sharp pain in my shoulder and middle of my spine. I'm pretty sure that's normal as I'm a beginner, but I just wanted to know how long it took you guys to get the roll down on concrete, and if you have any tips?

I also use the diamond technique if that changes anything.
