Hi guys,

My names Dave and I have been doing parkour now for a little over 3 years now. I went to Ithaca College graduated there and have been training in Albany NY for awhile. However, I am moving to Bristol CT to start a career for myself. I was wondering what kind of spots if anybody knows are there around Bristol? Hartford?

I would really appreciate any of your guys' help, maybe meet up with people and train if my schedule matches any of you guys'.

Also, here is a link to some videos of me or by me, graduated with a video production degree....Some of you may have seen the documentary about passion and movement a while ago it was on the APK news and youtube channel called 'Move'. That was a project that I shot and edited about parkour, also, I just put out a video recently of me training with some people in Albany check it out.....

Hey guys, has been awhile since I have posted a video on here been busy with graduation and sorting out my life. Wanted to thank everyone for the support and comments on my project "Move".

This past month I was over in France and Japan for a month traveling with my friend Zach who featured in "Move". Anyway I brought my camera along and filmed a lot of the trip its a 28min video but there are little snippets of parkour spread throughout the video. We trained with some locals in Lisses/Evry and in Japan we met up with PKTK to train in Yokohama

The Lisses/Evry footage starts around 5:30...then the Japan pk stuff starts around 20:30 and goes to 24:00

Anyway watch the whole thing and let me know what you think its our adventure through France (Paris, Versailles, Lisses/Evry) and Japan (Tokyo, Yokohama, Kyoto)

I hope you guys enjoy let me know what you think.

As always let me know what you guys think its been great doing parkour in the Ithaca area...Also, another thanks too all the comments and support I have received from you guys on my documentary "Move".

Train well

Guys thanks for all the positive feedback. I always love the feeling of watching other people's videos and being inspired afterwards. Am overwhelmed with how much you guys found Move inspiring. It's always interesting to see how everyone interprets the video, some people have opened my eyes up to other meanings that may not have even been intended.

Thanks a lot guys worked really hard on this, happy to see that you guys got the message in it's intended way.

Hi guys for the last semester I have been grueling away at work shooting and editing my senior thesis video production for Ithaca College. My goal was to make something visually appealing involving parkour but have the message be to become passionate about what ever it is you do. So this video is not focusing really on parkour but using movement from parkour to show passionate people. It is 13 mins long and I have spent over 120 hours on the total project working alone.

Anyway let me know what you think about the message that comes across from it here are two links:  (it may load slow but play smoother then facebook)
Here is the info: A visual exploration of movement as a passion and as a way of life. Senior video thesis project showing passionate people doing their passion to hopefully motivate you to think about your passion or find something no matter what it is to be passionate about.

In this video: Zach Berenzweig and Chris Delsavio

As always thoughts, feedback, whatever you wanna say is welcome...thanks guys

Zach and I (Dave) focusing on flow and movement at Ithaca College. It has been awhile since we have put out a video, have been concentrating on conditioning and technical skills, not so much big impressive moves. We have been training parkour for 2 years now. We feel that this video properly describes our journey into parkour as well as our interpretation of what parkour means to us. Comments and Advice Please.

Watch In HQ please.

« on: April 19, 2009, 11:38:21 AM » usual wow, the choice of the song, the location, and of course your seamless transitions are always a joy to fluid. It's hypnotizing to watch you flow through those rock/ruble areas.

keep it up...where are you from again?

Parkour And Freerunning / Future Arthritis in hands/wrists?
« on: April 04, 2009, 02:50:50 PM »
Hi guys,

just a concerned traceur here...My roommate and I have been doing parkour for a little over 2 years now and were just thinking about the future. We are concerned that as we grow older that because of our parkour when we were younger will pretty much make our hands/fingers/wrists arthritis stricken. We train/condition properly for legs and every joint and part of the body. However, there really is no way to condition the wrists or small joints in the fingers.

What do you guys think about this? We obviously do many pull ups, push ups, dynos, muscle ups, which obviously help condition the wrists but does this actually help or destroy the hands in the future.
