I began flipping at a gym that has open gym sessions... most of the time there are some experts there that can give you help.  Open gyms are less expensive and generally range from 5-15 dollars for 2-3 hours.  When i started flipping these were my best friends :)

I practice Parkour so that in the case of an emergency if i need to get to someone or get away from someone. (i live in a part of colorado with active gangs) I can get away and have the least amount of chance that they can follow me as quickly or effeciently.

I Think we should start making the parks mentioned in the thread.  Like a Ninja warrior obstacle course or something of the sort.  If we get people to see the sport more then they may be more willing to accept us.

Colorado / Re: Colorado parkour/freerunning teams?

Hi!  My name is Todd and I attend COPK when it was back at Gym Riki.  I haven't taken classes since, but have still been training.  I live in Aurora at Iliff and Chambers (near I-225).  I take the light rail to Denver sometimes.  I was wondering if I would be welcome in "Team Epic" or if there is another team closer to me.

Team Edge is mostly at Chambers and Smokey hill if you ever want to jam with us sometime just send me a email.  twinkytwo@yahoo.com
