Those who have been out through the morning have hit it hard and are chillin' for now. We are altering our prescheduled plan and will reconvene at 7:30 on the Belvedere. See you out there!

This is a map of all the important places fro the Jam this weekend. Check it out!

Don't forget to bring $5 to pitch in if you plan to attend the cookout on Saturday afternoon.

Open gym on Sunday costs $7 and you will need to fill out a waiver at the door.

LPK is also currently building new equipment and preparing to move into new gym space, any donations you might like to make to the cause would be greatly appreciated!

If there are any issues with the map, just let me know.

Kentucky / OHIO VALLEY JAM 2011!!!

Many have asked, "When are you guys gonna host another jam?" Sadly my reply has been, "Sorry, I've kinda been slacking." Boo to me.

However, the fine folks of Louisville Parkour have decided that we are indeed interested in hosting another regional Jam!!! We will be hosting this jam the week before Halloween; October 21st - 23rd. Unfortunately we will not be able to house everyone at Competitive Edge Gymnastics this year, therefore we will need to be finding you all patches of floor and couches to crash upon for the weekend. The upshot is, everyone should have a shower this time around. Whoo!

Tentative Schedule:

Friday Oct 21st - 7PM - Meet at Thruston Park to greet and Jam. Introduce visitors to their hosts for the weekend.
10PM - Wind down and head home to sleep.

Saturday Oct. 22nd - 10AM - Meet at Cherokee Park for Methode Naturelle training.
12PM - Meet at Big Rock (spot in Cherokee Park) for cookout/chill out/random play.
4PM - Meet at Waterfront Park for directed training. We will have a beginners class as well as workshops.
6PM - Run into the city and split up for dinner.
8PM - Meet at the Belvedere/Muhammed Ali for more Jammage.
10PM - Wind down and head home to sleep.

Sunday Oct. 23rd - 10AM - Meet at the Library to Warm-up and Jam.
12PM - Split up for Lunch
2PM - Meet at Competitive Edge Gymnastics for open gym
4PM - Open Gym ends. Say goodbye.

Please post here with the following information if you would like to attend:

Name:
Phone/Email:
Number Attending:

If you DO need housing please be sure to LIST AN E-MAIL OR PHONE NUMBER so we can coordinate with you prior to jam weekend. Thanks!

Make sure and check the LPK site about Saturdays because we often times move around. It's also been kind of hit or miss for Saturdays lately. Sorry about that. My work schedule conflicts sometimes. At any rate, I hope to see you guys out soon for a jam. Cheers!

Kentucky / Ohio Valley Jam - Aug. 20-22
« on: June 10, 2010, 02:56:23 PM »
I want to host Louisville first regional jam this summer! We've been growing like crazy here in Louisville and I think its time we host some of you guys down here and have some fun!

Preliminary Itenerary:

Friday Aug 20th - Meet at 7PM to Jam at Thruston Park.

Saturday Aug 21st - Meet at 8AM at Cherokee Park for a nature jam.
Break for lunch at Noon (Probably head to the highlands to eat)
Reconvene at 2PM at Waterfront Park to Jam Downtown
Break for Dinner at 6PM (plenty to eat around 4th st)
Meet back at the gym at 8PM to wind down and play

Sunday Aug 22nd - Meet at 10AM at The Falls of the Ohio
Gym Jam and cookout starts at noon at Competitive Edge Gymnastics.

For those of you who have never trained in Louisville, this is set to be an awesome weekend. Housing will be provided at Competitive Edge Gymnastics for those who need it and should be very comfortable (there are plenty of mats to go around). I'm asking that everyone pitch in 5 bucks for the cookout, and everyone who stays at the gym pitch in 5 more ($10 bucks total). If this is a problem let me know. I hope to see you guys there!

If you are interested in attending please reply in the following format:

Phone/Email:
Number Attending:

There are at least 2 individuals who train regularly at WKU, but I have been unable to make contact with them for some time. My best advice is to keep your eyes peeled. If I manage to get in touch I'll let them know about ya. Cheers!

Thanks for the invite, but I personally made plans to attend (b)East Coast a long while back. I've spread the word about both jams as much as I could, but thus far I don't think any of my colleagues will be attending either. I hope all goes well. Cheers!
