In addition to the long arm swing you have an asymetrical arm swing your left arm is more bent then your right thats innefficient, you also heel strike allot and appear to have stiff hips so you bend over in your landings instead of squatting down. working developing a good deep squatting position and work on barefoot running technique. Also work on landing on one leg out of vaults.

I know the kong vault came out wired because I have never konged over something that big and I just when for it when I was recording so that's a big leap for me now I have to work on getting farther from the obsitcal and coming out smoothly.

Nice movements! Very smooth and quiet (though it might be the editing, I don't know)

My criticism is your running form. Your arms hang low while running and rarely go above elbow height. This inhibits maximum speed, and is also a physical display of uncertainty with the upcoming movement - A technique is coming and the muscles tense out of anticipation. Practice and conscious repetition should help!

thanks I never noticed that, and I did not edit the sound i only did the blue effect and placed them together properly.

if you have sand or finely ground dirt it works the same way as chalk and a water bottle always rinse your hands off then reapply the sand keep your hands moist so they don't rip, my tip form being a gymnast.

also, i just googled gymnast chalk and I got this http://www.gymsupply.com/dgschalk-onepoundbox8cubes.aspx

I saw a video of some one in flip flops doing parkour.
So I went out and tried it myself, this is what I got.
and some stuff I never even tried with shoes on, this really gave my confidence a boost with shoes on.

Parkour And Freerunning / Re: Gymnastics for fun! helping parkour
« on: July 09, 2011, 06:25:46 AM »
Where are you taking classes?
I'm taking the classes at Gk Gymnastics in Fort Collins, Co
How did you get an offer to take them (is it for free)?
I first started tumbling classes there and they just wanted me on the team i'm not sure how i am paying just yet still need to see about that
How long will you take the classes?
well i was thinking for about a year
How many hours are you training gymnastics?
I have 2 classes a week 3 hours per class
Will this cut into the time that your normally use to teach parkour?
I am not sure if you meant practice parkour, or did you mean teach because I do not teach, and no this does not cut into my parkour training time
What have you noticed from the coaches? Do they know why you are taking classes?
I have noticed that they think i have great potentially, even when i don't think i do, they do know that I'm talking the classes for fun and helping my parkour
Pros and Cons in you opinion?
pros- great conditioning, learning the correct way to do the movements I love, every on your own pace and an open feel to the classes. cons- it's taking my parkour time in the gym witch i should really start training outside more, and well that's about it
