Hello all. Just wanted to introduce myself and hopefully meet somebody(s) in my area to train with. This is all new to me but I like to challenge myself. I am in very good shape for my age and weigh 190 lbs with 18-20% body fat. I used to compete in Judo tournaments in the 172 lb class but have bulked up since then. Not too happy with the slow down in speed and reflexes so I'm hoping to start training with this new discipline to get back to fighting weight (and conditioning). I have tremendous respect for all of you that have this as your passion and am very impressed by your strength, agility and overall conditioning. To wrap up, I live near Utica, NY (Upstate) and hope there are people in my area to help get me started. Thanks in advance for any input.
