This thread is now active!

Hey guys so Kyle and I have been trying to rebirth the page now, we just restarted the group. Originally we had 70+ members but over the years people lost interest. Hopefully we can rekindle something, it'd be extremely beneficial to those who are looking for support. :D the link is below

Gorilla PK / Sorry Chris! Re-did the page (new one)
« on: March 27, 2013, 11:21:11 AM »

I have been messing with the settings on the old one and well it's not going to do anything. I just decided it'd be easiest if I could access it right away without having to go through you first. If you guys could all like the page that'd be great!

I feel like most people have forgotten this... I like what you said a lot. Very inspirational.

So really, I’d suggest that you start off by training purely for the enjoyment of training. Because that’s in the end what it all boils down to: to truly love what you’re doing.

Yes it did kinda go otter mode, which is a shame but oh well. It's still here and the support is still there so it's up to you guys to help spread it too. Get it out there.

Hey man! Great to hear you're getting things kicked off up there (ironically was watching Alaska State Troopers last night in fairbanks). I can't help you out because I'm a full time student but if you're looking for funding try talking to the town hall about funding for the youth/promotion within fairbanks (signs/fundraiser/etc). That'd be my best bet! Hopefully some guys on  here would be willing to help you out if possible so keep trying to get your name out there and get people talking about it!

JDK im doing well man! I keep having intervals where i'll be on APK and then a month later I'm not for awhile! Hope your foot is better bro. I'm back in Boulder Colorado enjoying school and the cold ass weather haha. GPK is falling apart and it needs to get started up again. Kyle is in the military now and im a full time student so it's kinda hard to juggle things.

hey man no it's never too late to start. I know guys who are over 40 trying out the benefits of parkour. Don't feel as if it's too late to start, the parkour community has definitely increased in size in the past several years and youngsters are coming in like wildfire

hah! Glad to see this is still running. It's grown quite a bit since the early inception. Good job guys ;)

Thanks Muhammad! We've been kind of at a low because we've died down a bit. Hard to juggle things with school but I'm going to try and get it back up. I would love to see Gorilla PK flourish whether it's as a PK group/PK company it'd be fun to watch it grow!

Gorilla PK / Re: Shoes!?

Can someone tell me if this is a bad shoe or not?

Shimano R076L Road Shoe '09

From my knowledge no. Stick with shoes that have been tested. I recently got the New Ariakes as an investment and love them

Don't forget DIET DIET DIET  ;D key to dropping weight. Good for you man I have faith you'll stick with it, Parkour is a drug but a healthy drug. People in the community are the warmest, kindest people who are all in it together for fitness and for way of life or for fun. Don't hesitate to ask questions

Nice to see the forum still up and going guys! You guys are the ones who help this move and spread not us.
A good low-carb diet is what helped me pul my weight down 40 pounds in a year (so far). Diet makes the difference!
yes, if you're looking to drop weight a combination of cardio (parkour in this situation: my guess most cases) and diet (key to dropping weight). Make sure you drink your water too you should be drinking up to 3L of water a day to stay on a healthy diet.

Socialize / Huge Prank
« on: June 02, 2011, 12:57:34 AM »
Hey Guys so I had this kid who tried blackmailed me majorly and filed a lawsuit on me this weekend.... so in payback ive decided to prank him. Now this post is on Craigslist and it's a posting for EDC tickets a huge concert that goes on in Cali and tickets are incredibly hard to get.  Now what would be amazing is if you guys could get on your cell phones and call the hell out of this kid and pretend your buying the tickets that'd be awesome!!! look at the post and ask for Ross Witheridge for the EDC tickets that are 85$. Please his family tried to ruin my life so this is kinda the least you could do. It's hell to be on the receiving end yes but hilarious.
