And no, I do have hair now, I was thinking about shaving it again for the picture...my gf wont let me haha

I can top that!
I was in my room, and did a kong over my twin sized bed longways. I didn't factor in the spring of it and it launched me into my 6"+ thick solid plaster wall. My head went at least 3" into it, and it shot me back about 3' onto my ass! So now there's this huge whole in the wall of our RENTAL HOME!!! lol So now I have this big hole to save up the money to fix somehow without my mom finding out... M2 is already aware of this haha

Not to inflame the argument anymore, but I find it strange that in our day and age people feel the need to bash what you enjoy simply because it is not harmonious with that in which they enjoy. I'm not attacking anyone with this, I myself do it, I just find it...strange. All I'm saying is at least try to understand that they like it, perhaps even why they do, you don't have to like it to respect it, but you also don't have to hate it because you don't like it... Just something you should consider thinking about.

They look like they'd be heavy as hell, if they're light weight, I'd buy some, otherwise, durability doesn't mean that much to me.
But parkour aside, they sound awesome, I could definitely see where they would come in handy for me.

That's your opinion mate. My father is dead as a direct result of marijuana and the laws against it, so lets just leave it at that. I think I am in a fair enough position to speak with knowledge about the subject, and have enough experience to say that meddling with affairs that are illegal is not wise. I'm not trying to come down on anyone's head, but I am genuinely concerned for you all because of my own personal life experience regarding controlled substances and the effects that breaking the laws surrounding them can have on your family and your life.
I agree completely Muhammad, my step dad did marijuana, and the effect it had on him was frightening to see as a small child, the use or even simple affiliation with controlled substances is a very unwise choice to make, regardless of how honorable your intentions may be. Also, it's such a shame that people these days take such poor care of their bodies, and drugs just add to that lack of personal care.
Personally, I have a step sister, and an...acquaintance who do marijuana, and I also met a guy who did it, I stay out of it, I keep busy enough looking after myself and my own life to worry about poor decisions others make, there are lessons that can and need to be learned by the experiences and choices we make in life, and I'm not about to interfere with that. Also, I agree to the point that it is their decision, and their's alone. Let her know you disagree with her choice, and move on. Focus on SELF-improvement so as you can more effectively help others, this may seem to be an overused phrase in our (parkour) community, but...

The way I drilled mine was to find a handicap ramp rail with one rail on either side of a sidewalk, and find a comfortable starting spot, go one direction through both rails one way, and then coming back do the other side, I tended to do whichever side was on the higher side of the rail (ie / = right side, \ = left side. (exaggerated, but you get the idea)). I did 20 on each side and saw great improvements on it.

I got mine to where they are very smooth (not fast yet, but very smooth) all you have to do is practice them to get your confidence built up, smoothness, and speed comes with comfort and confidence, and this applies to all techniques.

That's about where mine's at (8.5-9') but a good way is to make the jump distance trainers that they (used) to have a tutorial on here (gear and M2 will get it back up at some point though), but once you get them, I'd advise doing the "samurai drill" from the jump height trainers. (start at the shortest distance, jump to it 100 times in 1 day, and each day, move it out 1'' and eventually you (should) increase your distance considerably). other than that, do lots of squats and calf raises to increase your leg strength, and practice a lot.
