Louisiana / Lafayette, Louisiana Parkour and Freerunning
« on: October 10, 2011, 05:24:12 PM »
I just moved from Lake Charles and I'm looking for anybody who does parkour or freeruns. I'm pretty basic so i'm looking for any groups, or teams to run with and learn from. I've looked all over and everything on the net is outdated and i can't find Acadiana Parkour on facebook. Did parkour and freerunning in Lafayette Die or something?!?

yeah, Trampolines are a no go. They spoil you Hoorribly. I got a friend who can't do a backflip on a trampoline but can on the ground, while i can on the trampoline and can't on the ground. I get absolutely No height anymore. Just all rotation. and it Suuucks... Alot.. Ha

I posted on your video But youtube limited my words so my explanation might have been shitty so, Ill reply here too. You're not untucking. You are just keeping the tuck till you touch ground. The guys in your video untuck when the get horizontal and let the momentum in their feet pull them down to the ground in the outright standing position. Actually i could see the progress in your video. You can plainly see in your 'latest and best' frontflip that you are starting to untuck sooner and you landed standing alittle straighter. That's why it was better than all the others when you flipped in a ball and landed in a ball. Really, the tuck is for a faster rotation. That's why one of your flips ended with you being flung forward from your finishing squatted down position. Hope i helped you out.
