Title: Do your slippas chafe?
Post by: Gregg HIPK on July 20, 2009, 10:18:06 AM
i was wondering about that too, im kinda thinking they might chafe like flip flops

He was talking about Tony's split toe shoe designs. It got me thinking... I used to get chafing from slippas, but I don't any more. So what changed? Part of it's that I clean any rough spots off the seams. Part is my foot is tougher now. Has my walking style changed? Maybe. My running style has - I'm running toe-heel now.

What's your experience been?

I rarely wear slippas, try to be barefoot as much as I can now a days. So when I do I am gently walking or standing. If I need to run, climb or anything I just take them off.

as someone who's worn slippers for most of his life, what I've noticed is that the slippers get broken in, and your toes/feet become slightly tougher. you may also not be wearing them as tight between to your toes.
