Topic: Willgrind from Ohio Jam - Saturday, March 11

On Saturday, March 11, there will be a parkour jam taking place in downtown Denver and Red Rocks Amphitheater. We will be meeting at "Cat Fountain" at 10 am. Cat Fountain is in downtown Denver at 17th and Arapahoe st. We will jam in downtown for a few hours and then for those who want to, we will be heading over to Red Rocks Amphitheater.
 
Joining us from Ohio will be willgrind, a well known traceur from Ohio.
 
I know this is shorter notice, and I don't expect a huge turnout, but hopefully we will see a decent sized turnout. Everyone is welcome from traceurs to media to spectators! Tell all your friends and get as many people to come as you can!
 
I still have some COPK shirts so if you want one, come to the jam and you can buy one for $17.
 
For the 2nd week in the past 3, let's once again show why out-of-staters always leave Denver claiming it is the best parkour city in the country!

  Didn't have parkour on my mind when i planned this trip, but the more i thought about it the more i realized  there was no way in hell i was goana miss the chance to meet you guys and jam Denver.  Hope to see a good turnout, cause god knows when i'll get the chance to meet you guys again.

Well, I'll be at winter camp, but you guys wil have to take a ton of pics .  I'll try to take a lot of pics at winter camp too, since of course I take parkour with me wherever I go .  Have fun

Ill be there at Red Rocks at I believe 10AM  running the stairs w/ the track team so Ill try and  hook up with you guys when you get there if that sounds alright. This is random as well, but Im heading up to Red Rocks again tomorrow ( Sunday March 4, 2006 at 1 PM) if anyone wanted to join me. I could use some help w/parkour.

I saw that too. That would be a real shame if we got rained/snowed out, but there's nothing we can do about it, so no point in worrying.

Tyler and I have Lacrosse practice for 4 hours on Saturday, we won't be making it to the jam unless it lasts untill 4 or 5.

i got work till 1 this saturday but after that im down.  and as far as getting snowed out goes oh well.  we can always have a gym jam right?

You could always try going inside one of the malls up there , after all the only security guards I seen at malls are, well lets just say prone to resemble tomatoes .  Actually have you guys ever checked out the Pepsi center?  I work dippin dots there every once and a while and it would be awesome for parkour.

yeah it would be awesome for parkour but there is no chance we could jam in there. same with the malls in denver.

Thats too bad, are there any indoor places at all in Denver?  (Besides the gym)  We have Tiffany square down here, but it doesn't offer an insane amount of obstacles.  Just enought to keep us busy

yeah denver can be ghetto craptaculous for indoors except maybe the tabor center but my bet is on them removing said pedestrian tomfoolery off of premises in an expedited fashion of sorts, or so i would gather from past past references hinting to possible goings on in the times to come.

yup, seems to be that way. Looks like i might just have to make a summer trip out here. i say we wait for friday for the final verdict on wether or not to jam, could clear up, you never know.

Very true, after all this is Colorado.  Just the other day it was nice bright warm and sunny, but by the end of track practice the sky was full of very ominous clouds .
