I'm in Pittsburgh, but I'm a bit of a beginner. By a bit, I mean I am a beginner. I've been doing the APK Warm-up for the past month or so to try to build back up my strength, since I haven't done any sort of weight training or that sort of thing for about 3 years. I've just begun working on rolls also.

Spiff, shoot me an email at jrainey@andrew.cmu.edu.....maybe we can work out to do some training. It'd be nice to have someone around who can point out why my hip bone keeps getting hurt whenever I roll on a hard surface.

I live like 20 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh.

I've been into parkour for a while and have been training but I'm getting more into it this summer than ever before.

Hey, I go to pitt and I'd love to get some jams/regular training sessions together.

My AIM is rolandsxenocide, so anyone in the area interested in getting together lemme know. Theres tons of great places around the pitt/cmu campuses. If anyone happens to also go to pitt, I'm trying to start up a club for next year, so contact me if you're interested as well.

im about 30 minutes from downtown. I go to central catholic in oakland, and i am a beginner at parkour, just started right now. Pitt has a bunch of sweet spots up on the hill a little below the pete. I've rode bikes up there, theres some sweet walls and rails and stuff.

I live in a suburb of Pittsburgh 15 minutes away (Mount Lebanon) and if there is ever anything going on downtown please notify me and id be up for meeting downtown any day cause of the trolley i can just hop a ride down for the day also ill check this regularly but seriously if anyone the 5 or 6 people on this thread want to set up a date to go downtown and practice id definitely come

yeah i live in jefferson hills so im pretty close to you. Are there any good spots over by the village/galleria area. Also hows the high school over there anything good?
ive been trying to set up a date, i have myself and two other people i know that are into pk, i definately want to go down to oakland sometime and session with someone, normally i train by myself.

I haven't been over to the galleria or south hills village for parkour at all but my high school isnt bad. Do you and your other people want to set up a training session downtown some day next week or something. Where exactly is Jefferson Hills is it near Thomas Jefferson or what?

yeah it actually is thomas jefferson, i live right down the street from the high school, im up for a session whenever as long as its not raining. This weather really sucks.

cool yea sometimes soon, and im just wondering how old are you and your friends and how long have you been training and if we did ever train where would you want to train and hopefully this rain stops but i actually dont mind that bad cause i sprained my wrist which has been a bitch for the last few days

i am 17 most of my friends are that if not a little younger. I have been training now for a solid 2 or 3 weeks, so im still a beginner but i can get around. I went down to oakland last week on tuesday and my friend and i did pk for like 3 and a half hours, im thinking about going downtown this weekend, and seeing what stuff we can find down there.

nice i sent a job application into arbys, and have an interview tuesday, i really need a job but it will ruin my training. ill come downtown if i can find a place to park for cheap.

the closest place would be either the stop in library or the village, isn't that only like 1.50$ for down and back?

i dont know but as long as your not gone for more then 4 hours you can get a transfer and the whole cost is probably under $5, yea just wondering when you say library do you mean as the township cause if so theres this awesome abandoned school right next to the main trolley and if your into urban exploring i recommend going and exploring it, its awesome
