Wow, it's been a while. How are ya doing? And are there many people down there? If so, you should try to get them involved with apk =D

not too bad really. but no... sadly there's not too many people down here that do parkour. i'm workin on spreading it down here but most of these people are too ignorant to understand (security and officals) so they just brush it off as me being a 'risk' to their properties. so... yea.
but its also really hard to find a decent place to train here, i mainly just use my apt complex and the playgrounds at some local schools lol.

I'm doing what I can.  I am in north MS and can't find hardly anyone that practices parkour here.  When I do some stuff in front of people, most look at me like I have lost my mind or tell me to quit or I'm going to get hurt.  If they understood what parkour is and some of the details of it they might be more accepting.  Some might join me.  I plan on using whatever is at home, local park stuff, and maybe some campus structures when I head to college.

Even my parents worry about my practicing parkour. I understand that they don't want me to get hurt, but I still do it, mostly when I'm alone.  Though I'm rather new to the sport, I try to be as safe as possible.  Since I plan on doing at least a couple of years of ROTC, I figure this would help get me in better shape so the exercises won't totally kick my butt when I start classes.

Im in right outside the Tupelo city limits, and there's actually a few buildings within walking distance (6 miles)
I'm 14 and just getting started, I've never liked running very much, but I've always liked climbing and parkour (which is running and climbing) any ideas, tips, or tricks to help me get started?
My current running routine is jogging 3 days a week and adding one mile each week.

I've also started doing sprints. My neighborhood is 1.1 miles around (my mom drove around it in her car with the trip meter on. So it's 1.1 miles around inthe center of the road, and I jog around the outside of the road.) I do sprints for 1+ miles (one lap) sprinting for as long as I can then resting and sprinting again.
