« on: April 16, 2008, 12:19:47 PM »
Where?
Kansas City MO
We'll be meeting at the Plaza and moving around from there. We'll be hitting up UMKC as well.

When?
Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17
For Friday, I believe we'll be starting late afternoon-ish around 4 or 5pm.
Saturday noonish.

please comment below with changes etc... I can't remember exact details off the top of my head. Laurie/Dash this works still right?

totally works for me! but i'll probably won't be ready until 1 or 2 pm on saturday, and so would need a ride, unless i can convince my friend to come (which it looks like i might, assuming he doesn't have to work).

Sounds fine to me.  It seems most of the KC-area PK'ists are in the downtown area anyways, so that seems a good place to stick it.  I should be able to house a couple as needed, and provide transportation for those as well [I drive a Maxima, so max of 4 passengers there; plus I'd rather not have more than that staying at my place, few bad experiences in the past].  I'll probably forget about this though, keep reminding me. :P

there's some activity on the Kansas City Parkour website about the jam, http://kcparkour.ning.com/, about 3 or 4 people are thinking about joining.  I directed them over here for any information they need

I can be there on saturday.  Where exactly we meeting and does anyone need a ride or place to stay.  I live in Raytown right off of 350 so pretty much a straight shot into the plaza and such.

Neat, I'm surprised this is growing so much :P Can't wait to see everybody there. Laurie, dash, spyda et al: we should probably exchange phone#. Mine is on my APK profile. As things get closer to jam day if anyone has questions comments ideas, feel free to pm/call me. I still don't know my way to laurie's house or dash's for that matter.

jus added my number on my profile.  ok did we decide where exactly to meet in the plaza? I think we decided on the big fountain with the horses?  If so, I can post the location to that spot, but its up to you guys to figure directions to get there.

Ok, well basically once you make it into the Country Club Plaza, the fouintain is off Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd/W47th St., between JC Nichols Pkwy and Main St.  You can't miss it, and as for parking, you can park off of some streets, and there are a few garages with free parking.

Big Fountain with horses, fair enough. I'll probably just call when I'm there if I get lost. I'm pumped :)

Yes sir, I'll be there. If I'm late don't hate me, just call and I'll let you know where I am/what happened. Traffic on I-44 is always a pain on the weekends.
lauriejennifer, I need directions if I'm to pick you up on my way into town.

Nice spyda. Oh I'll probably call you when I get to the plaza, expect a 417 number. I'm also confused now about which Plaza we're talking about after reading that ning site.
The one I'm talking about has lots of shops and stuff, and fountains. I think there's a cheesecake factory and a sharper image.

i just posted about this over on the kansas board.  not sure if someone else here already did.  i'm sure non of you would mind.  i figured since we're having this jam in a boarder city, it would be sweet to include the local kansas peeps as well.  :)  i just wish i had thought of that sooner...
