Weekend Warrior

A Weekend Warrior (or WW for short) is a casual traceur, one who's mild to moderate interest does not manifest itself past the occasional attending of weekend jams.

Excellent, I definitely gonna use that.  The great thing is that the guys I use it on will have no idea what I mean since they are too slackerish to get online ;) (I know I'm kinda mean)

But is it really their fault their WWs?  I mean, id probably be considered a WW during the school year (thank god its almost over), but during the Summer, id prolly be like...well...more than a WW, lol.  I cant drive so i rely on my parents and cuz gas is so high (lets not start THAT subject), they refuse to drive me places usually.

I think that you guys might be a little mixed up on the "ww" thing, of  course it could also be me.  TO me a "ww" is someone who only trains for parkour when it is convenient, like when everyone else is doing it.  They don't look to explore the world around them, and they are often lacking creativity in movements because they don't care very much.  To them parkour is basically just something fun to do occasionally, like getting together with some friends to play paintball or something.  They don't really open their eyes to the opportunities that the world around us offers.

So there ya go, thats kinda my definition of what a "weekend warrior" is to me.  They don't neccesarily have to be limited to the weekend. it about their attitude, and mindset while they are training.  Of course let me know if you think differently about this, cause I love to see other peoples opinions. :)

Not that thats a bad thing, if i have learned anything its that Parkour is FUN. And if people want to use it for that, then its OK in my book.

I think you're both right...Lol.  If someone wants to just do it on the weekend, thats fine by me.  By them at least practicing Parkour, it shows they have at least an interest.  Therefore, it may be fun to them...they just dont care as much as the rest of us.
