two weeks is that how long you have till you are out of school?

Yessir.  This coming Saturday is the only day I'll be able to come for the rest of the summer.  I know a few people live in Springfield, though, and Chad lives in Bolivar but he might make it down every now and then.  Hopefully things will keep going strong until I get back in August!

It was an enjoyable day. We showed some new kids founders and the garage. Then we played around for a bit.

Operation: Usual Saturday Jam was sparse, but still a success.  Hope to see everyone next week!

P.S. - I think I'm going to start showing up at 10:00 instead of 11:00, but I'm down with staying until everyone else is ready to go.

Great day today!  We had three new people show up, one of whom had been doing parkour in the area for about 2 years but didn't know we existed until this week.  I feel really confident with my climb-ups now, although I want to work on being able to do more than 10 or so before I get tired and have to go one arm at a time.  Also, I did a kong over a 7-foot obstacle today, which puts a great big smile on my face. ;D

Did anyone on here go to the jam on Saturday?  If so, how did it go?  I wasn't able to make it, but I'll almost certainly be there this coming Saturday!

i did! it was good, we had three new people. Two showed up 30-45 mins late. first time. i showed them around and we "played around" a lil, i took them to the garage. while there another Guy(i cant believe i forgot his name) We worked on vaults at the garage, then we went over to founders and i showed him around and we played a bit, i needed to leave, but i do believe that stayed for a bit. But in all i would call it a good meet

So I'm pretty new here and was wondering if people still came here. I know that not many people train regularly in the winter but I was wondering if and when people were gonna start coming again.

Last year I went through most of the Winter, but this year things have been harder.  The snow and weather in general has been pretty inconvenient, so most of us haven't been showing up.  Officially there are still jams on Saturdays at 10am, but I wouldn't count on people showing up unless the terrain would be clear and dry enough to be safe.

How old are you, and what's your parkour experience so far?

.::EDIT::.  Sorry!  I just saw your post over in the membership thread.  Welcome to the forums!  Salem's a pretty far drive from Springfield, but we'd love to have you come over sometime!

Does this still go on every sat? I'm heading down to Springfield for about a month and a half so it would be cool to train with a few people here.
