Hahahah!

No difference really, only that peops will start telling you "Remember, you're not 15 anymore" bla bla bla, until the point where you're 35+ and you start believing them  ;D

The older you get the truer the principle, "Use it or lose it."  Also, with age, all of your parts go off warranty.  Don't forget, all the abuses of your youth catch up with you, the more of them there are/were, the worse it is.  The meaning of "extreme" sports means just that--extreme debility later on in life with each accumulated crash & burn.  I'm extremely active and agile at 56, but things break easier, take longer to heal, and that's after living a life of eating well, staying in shape, and STILL never having broken a bone or undergone any major surgery.

Do not live your life short-sighted, nor take for granted the principle "garbage in/garbage out".  That covers all aspects of life from food/friends/environment/spirituality, etc.  Treat your "vehicle" with great respect--you only get one at-bat.

Hey black i love your spirit, im 15 but i like learning from my peers. You guys give a whole other aspect towards Parkour/Free running, and i can learn from you guys. Don't let your body say your getting old. Its all in the mind, Tell yourself your young, and your young. Don't let any little *(&)&#*% person say ur too old for something. Within your mind ur able to overcome barriers which you cannot using your body. "Thats the Brilliants of the brain"  :P

Best of Luck with your healing, and training

Hey, Ruselis... Good to have you here. Good job on American Ninja. We were all rooting for Levi and Brian, nothing personal ;D

Jackie Chan, Jack LaLanne, the big wave surfers [now in their 70s, 80s, and 90s], old martial artists, old dancers... They prove that we can still stay active, healthy and fit. Take care of what you've got.

This is true though.  I am 32 now and I have noticed that my wounds heal significantly slower now than when I was in my early 20s especially if the wounds are on my legs.  So part of it is mental but part of it is biology.  However, this is why I am doing parkour now because I want to get back some of those powers I got in my early 20s that I took for granted:-)

I'm 32.  I haven't noticed much difference in my rate of healing, but that's not stopping everyone around me from reminding me that I'm "getting old".  Funny, I still feel young.   ;D

I'm 35 now, and I just started conditioning training so I can get into the shape I need to be in order to properly do Parkour. I've noticed no slowdown in my healing times whatsoever, but that's just me, I've always healed very rapidly and cleanly.

Now the REAL challenge, is getting beyond the past 8 years of being a professional artist, which does NOT lend itself to staying in shape.

Forward!

Cheers,
-Ted

Law of Accommodation, my man. Use it or lose it is right. Keep active and fit. I heal slower and recover slower now at 41 than when I was in my 20s, but still significantly faster than other guys my age who are sedentary.
