I know you said no spoilers but I can't resist! Who would have thought that after you and Brian demolished the first round, they wouldn't tell you to stop and you guys just went straight through to beat the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round without stopping!

And the biggest surprise was the unveiling of a special 5th, 6th, 7th, and 9th stage JUST for you guys (no 8th stage though). Who'd have thought!

Dude i was pretty worried at stage 6 when they brought out 11 rabid cyborg mountain gorillas and made Levi fight and kill them with a plunger... I mean we train fighting 7 rabid cyborg mountain gorillas at Michigan Parkour, but 11.... I wasn't sure he could handle it...

Too bad G4 decided to wait so long. I could understand waiting a couple weeks if they had to edit all the info and add English voice-over, captions, or some special bonus added features. 7 weeks seems a bit long.

Congrats to everyone who tried out, and to Brian and Levi for even making it to Japan in the first place.

Keep training, everyone. Next time, it could be you.

Travis - those gorillas are augmented about 20 miles NW of Ann Arbor. Yes, they're rabid cyborg mountain gorillas from Hell [MI]. ;D Nice plunger work, Levi. If you can't make a living from PK, there's millions of people who need a good plumber.

Yeah, but what about in Stage 6 where they had to survive for 11 minutes... COMPLETELY SUBMERGED IN LAVA.

Well, it looks like G4 is very aggressive in hunting down and requesting the removal of Youtube videos (can't really blame them), so we'll probably have to wait until May.  Does anyone know if it's just the FIRST 1/2-hour episode that'll air on May 18th, or if it's the entire thing?  Also, will G4 butcher the videos as they have in the past, or will they leave more of the original in this time?

Finally, assuming you're invited back in the future, Levi, will you consider becoming a SASUKE regular?

If G4's removing stuff, they're being very thorough. Blog sites, wikipedia entry on Levi... I find something, and it's not there the next time I look.

Yes, they are being very thorough.  I actually found the blog of this Chinese guy who posted the video on Youtube.  The video was removed within a day, and in a later post he posted the email he got from G4.  Despite pleas from his readers, he decided to respect G4's wishes and not repost the video elsewhere.  Oh, well.  I guess a month and a half ain't that bad (although, again, I just hope they don't butcher it too much this time).

I've seen the videos posted up on youtube, last night and tonight, and if you want to see them before may 18. You better hurry up and look it up.

I don't get how G4 could have videos of the Japanese airing removed.  Unless what people are putting on the web are leaked copies of G4's version.  Or does G4 own all of it from camera to television regardless of what country it is being shown in.

It was TBS (Tokyo Broadcast syndicate) that was removing the videos, not g4.

Actually, it WAS G4.  At least, the email in the blog that I read was in English, from a G4 rep.  G4 can have it removed because they paid $$ for the broadcasting rights in the US and allowing US audiences to see the show before they broadcast it will deprive them of potential revenue.  TBS doesn't give a damn anymore because they already broadcasted their show and unless they're planning a DVD collection, they don't lose anything from it being on Youtube.

When I went to the video of Brian it said "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Tokyo Broadcasting System, Inc. "
youtube.com/watch?v=qBU--UCipvs copy that into the url bar.
That was the link for the video.
It probably was g4 that was looking for the videos to take off the internet.

Hey Levi couple of questions:

1. How exactly did you fail? ;) Well, since it's the cliff hanger I assume you missed the 'big' gap that most people usually do.
2. What do you feel you would need to work on the most to do better?
