I didn't eat breakfast or lunch, so when I came home, I wolfed down a crapload of food. So when I went to start day 1 of week 2 of the 8 week program, I couldn't do it, I felt so sick. So instead of doing it, I did last weeks with my sister, to give her some motivation.

On a side note, I realize there's no way I will be able to do the 8 week program if I have to run by myself, and then run the run with my sister. We have to be seperate for two reasons: she can't keep up with my pace, and she is one week behind on the 8 week thing. So what i'll do is follow the program at my pace, and get something else going for my sis.

Pushups 5x2 +4
Chinups 5x1 +4
Squats 10x2 +4
Dips: 2 normal, 1 'wide armed'

I put two chair backs together so I could dip, I will do so everytime now

I was going to do hanging leg raises, but I didn't have the proper equipment. So I held a front planche (I think that's what it is) for 30 seconds, and side planche 15 seconds each side.

PS I know I was supposed to run yesterday's run today, but I got bogged down with homework.

wow, I had to look on the second page to find my training journal. I guess it's good though, because it means a lot of people are continuously updating their logs.

I freaking hate myself right now, I had to go out to dinner (parent's anniversary) and I barely had time to run. I managed .5 miles and a few suicide sprints, though, which felt pretty good.

I realized that for the past few days I have been dating it like its march  :P

OK so I had a 3 page paper to write, plus AP stat problems, plus a 50 problem quiz tomorrow. No, I did not procrastinate, I got 90% of that word today. So I peppered in set of pushups and pullups:

Pushups 5x4 +5 so technically 5x5
Pullups 1x5 +5 but I did 2x5 - they were slightly jump, and I didn't straighten my arms completely, but I felt like I improved  :). And it's a good start.

Right after I finished my essay, I did my last set of pullups. I look at the clock: 12:30 AM. So that's why there were no squats or planches.

PS i'll edit the dates after this post.

I came home, hoping to run. An hour after coming home (about 5 PM) I fell asleep. I woke up at 9 PM. Felt good getting all that rest, but I couldn't run.

I need to start studying for AP tests...

I am getting sick and tired of myself...

I can't run the 8 week thing because of time issues, so i'm getting rid of it.

Instead, I'll start running 1.5 miles 3 times a week, with a mile on rest days. the 1.5 miles will increase by 10% every two weeks.
Mon, Wed, Fri: Running
Teus, Thurs, Sat: Strength, light running.

I think I "officially" started parkour training today. I threw a matress on the floor and rolled over it, concentrating on going diagonally on my back, perhaps about 50 times. Then I stood on a chair, hopped off and rolled a few times.

I think I'll incorporate parkour practice every saturday and sunday. Also, after next week I'll progress to carpet, then a few weeks after that grass, then about a month or so  :P after that I'll go to concrete.

I am a stupid idiot. I ate a whopper junior, with a few fries and a medium coke and then some (some extra coke, that is). Then my stupid self decides to run outside in the Floridian sun. Needless to say, I was parched barely halfway through. I found a hose and took a sip of very hot, rubbery-tasting water. I ran a mile and walked the rest home, stopping for nasty hose water a few more times.

I NEED to fix my diet. And the thing is, I have all the motivation in the world. I'm just lazy.

Remember "2 weeks bodyweight, 1 week weight?" well,

Bench press 5x4 50 lbs
Squat 5x4 50 lbs

Decided to take it really easy today, especially on the bench.

Ran 1.5 miles.

also, I went to the pool and held my breath as long as I could. Then, after taking a couple of breaths, repeated a few times. I'm hoping to increase the time I can hold my breath. I think that involves VO2 max, right?

Sometimes, doing one thing is better than doing another. Instead of working out, I slept for 3 hours. I REALLY needed that sleep, now I feel super-refreshed.

Plus, there was a hostage situation in my neighborhood earlier, and I wasn't allowed to go out. If you're curious, here's the story: http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/local/broward/sfl-0424pompano,0,6231935.story
