Coming to Denver!
« on: March 10, 2008, 06:54:36 AM »
Hey! If you haven't checked out my trip thread, do so: http://www.americanparkour.com/smf/index.php?topic=8617

I'm planning on coming to Colorado (obviously. I missed the jam last summer... gotta make up for it now!). I probably won't be able to make the big national jam unless it happens to coincide really well with my travel plans, but I'd still like to meet and train with as many of you as possible! I think Demon volunteered his couch/floor for me to crash on for a few nights, and I'll probably stay with phreaknite for a bit, but I just wanted to let you all know I was coming!

I'll post up more exact dates when I have them. Looking forward to meeting you all!

Sweeeet!!

Looking forward to meeting you man!!  ;D

PS: Not only are you going to learn a lot from the various communities...but traveling the US via bus will open your eyes to a whole different world...Bring a journal.

PPS: Also, you may want to consider looking at some train schedules as well...bus trips can be very long and their seats are not the most comfortable. On a train you can at least walk around or get a sleeper for overnights :)

I don't know, man.  He seemed to rather enjoy it last time.  In fact, I think it was his idea.

It...uh, must be costumary for New Yorkers to cook their friend's meals for them.  Intriguing behavior, really.  I tell you, it's a strange and faraway land, but if we could all just dig way down, I think we'd find that even this alien concept of "friendliness" could span the gap between this land and that one. :D

When you're getting lessons in "friendliness" from a New Yorker... maybe that's when I should re-evaluate my decision to come to Denver. :p

Colorado really IS a friendly place.  People wave with two hands...and everyone bathes in river water!  And people ski and snowboard to work yearround!  It's magical.  We all have pickup trucks, but we usually just ride our good old steeds (Can't wrangle cattle in the Chevy, can we?).  One important thing of note; we are busting down half of Denver to make room for more corn.  It should only take a few weeks, though, because in Colorado, everyone helps out!

No worry though, Cat Fountain is still there.

aahhh. ;D

cough..choke..

If you're serious brother...do a google search for David Belle.
He is the founder of Parkour and is one of the founding fathers of this style of movement.

He is also VERY impressive to watch move!!
