I'd like for everyone in the Springfield area to post here, I want to organize a little better so I'll make a section for each area of MO. This way you can go to your area and find who is closest to you.

I often visit Spfd often as it's my hometown but I also live in Nevada,MO. Hopefully this summer I'll be making a weekly visit to come jam at Founders with you guys, my first one should be sometime next week, I'll let you know when I know.

SWORCHANOVE I assume you are talking about Radio Springs? Me and some of my friends hit up Radio every Sunday to practice parkour/freerunning, Also Cottey is nice but you get kicked off VERY fast and we almost were arrested so I would not recommend it. PM a way to get a hold of you bud and we can setup a time to jam on the cattypillar

Yes sir, we meet every Saturday around 11 downtown. Check the MO JAMS section for more details. Last week was cancelled as it was Kansas City jam time.

wow there are people to Springfield who parkour, since you were wanting to know who is in springfield i decided to post here even though i am not going to go to the meetings, i am still learning the VERY basics, mostly waiting till school is out, 15 years old.

But i wouldn't mind some help on where i could find mabey a tutor or a trainer or a gym when school is out. I am mostly going to be looking for a gym since i REALLY need something soft to practice some jumps and flips on.

Also, does being kinda short ( 5'5") make parkour tougher? most people say i can jump kinda high but i never seen myself jump before xD.

Just swing by some Saturday, your parents can even come if they'd like. There's no age limit, and everything we do is geared towards slow progression.

Alrighty, so if I am still working on a pk roll and doing some of the msot basic vaults its okay? I will prob do it when schools out, got finals and such like everyone else

P.S. I think I would be able to do more than i think I can but i haven't really had a chance to go to some good spots to practice, mostly my backyard deck which isn't the best xD

dang, i wasn't able to go to the jam today Nom

It is memorial day monday and i have no school, i wouldn't mind practicing my pk roll with some guidance but if you can't then that is okay, i got all summer to practice it. (( I seem to keep hurting the bone below my shoulder blade on my back.

That sounds alright man, maybe we can have a memorial day session downtown. I'll see what my lady has planned for me though, I'll talk to her after she gets off work. There's lots of nice grassy spots for you to practice.

alright sweet, you might have to give me directions to founders though cause i went to yahoo maps and used the directions tool and tryed to find it manually and i couldn't find a park named "founders". I know one exists though xD. (( Any chance its also called Jenny Lincoln Park?))

P.S.- I will be walking there cause my parents leave for work around 6-7, (( i live close to the Battlefield Mall so i will have quite a walk ahead of me xD

hey no problem, it is probably good that we didn't do it today, i ran/walked and explored all the way from where i live to founders park, (( yes i found it, it took some exploring but yay me!

)) and my legs are very tired... it was around 3 hours there and back but i didn't straight up walk there and back, kinda messed around... and yeah that would be REALLY awesome if i could get a ride to jams, i will ask my parents to make sure its okay (( my dad is the hardest to make him understand certain things but i don't think he will mind))

I think Founders Park is kinda close to my school (Central High School) cause Central is on Jefferson Avenue Also...

Sweet, i asked my dad if i could go to the saturday jams (meets) and he said "why not, i wouldn't mind meeting the guy", are you the guy in charge basically? if so, then i think he might just want to see how exactly it works and stuff but it is a green light for "go" so far

, my step-mom Rachel said she would be able to take me there so you wouldn't have to waste gas but all is good

Ahhh, very exicted, this saturday will be a meet i think and this friday is the last day of school for me so i should be at every meet for the rest of the summer and so on.

I need to start a fitness program of some sort to get in shape and get acquainted (spelling) with the gym close to me to learn flips and mabey even practice/perfect my pk roll there.
