could this state be brought about by living deliberately instead of meditating? i mean, does meditation actually bring any profound difference other than a state of calm? the same state that can be brought about through constant practice of living a mindful life?
im honestly just curious because i have yet to try meditation but, from what i hear the positive aspects of meditation can be had by living in the moment and deliberately.
instead of walking with one foot in front of the other, choose where your foot will land, choose when and how to breath and choose which muscles contract the most to move you through space. is living like this the same thing people try to gain by meditating?
just the other day i realized that deliberately doing things brought me to a state of peace, i didnt think of anything but, what i was doing.
im just curious because it seems like this is really the goal of meditation, and instead of meditating i think it would be interesting to practice this in daily life.
