Sounds like me and you are kind on the same pathway. I am just starting but like I said I have a decent background in other sports. I really have very little interest in freerunning but I can tolerate to get some workouts in. I checked out their website, I am thinking about hitting up a open session as well. A little is better than nothing you know especially in the current weather. When I get home tomorrow I will post some stuff from their site to maybe get some more people interested in attending either one of their classes or  more so maybe we can recruit more people to attend.

thank you for the lead

My names Daniel. I'm 19 and I live in Visalia. I'm relatively new at parkour. I'm still working on smoothing out kinks in my roll but I've got many other maneuvers down. I was wondering if anyone near the Visalia-Tulare-fresno is interested in getting together to practice sometime. I would like to learn some new maneuvers and tips and have other people to practice and learn with. If anyone is interested let me know by sending me a message or replying to this post. Or call/text me at (559)-679-0718

Hi Daniel, welcome. I'm always interested in finding new folks to train with.
If you don't mind coming up to north Fresno, we could meet at the Gymnastics Beat "Urban Gymnastics" class this Friday at 6pm.

So I went to Gymnastics Beat this friday night for open gym night. I have been working with my 7 year old daughter on some parkour moves so she went and my girlfriend too who is also just starting out in parkour.

There was a large presence of the freerunning crowd ,. I didn't want to attempt to work into the rotation with the freerunners especially with my daughter wanted to learn to vault. We basically set up our own obstacles, we did several different things to vault, including a wall for practicing lazy vaults, a wider obstacle for kong vaults, and we set up a underbar obstacle that worked out pretty well.

For the money of 5.00 for the free gym, it can't be beat.
I may be going back tomorrow night.

We've developed quite the training group over the past few months.

On Saturdays, people from Lemoore, Bakersfield, and Hanford come out to Visalia to train with each other. If you're in the area and interested you can contact me at 559-679-9597 or at ajolly1990@hotmail.com.
