BNP'S Journeys
« on: February 11, 2008, 09:28:07 AM »
Hey this is the first entry of my journal, Ive been traing roughly 2.7 years prior to this.

This past weekend is over, met up with some local memphis guys who showed me some fun spots. Did alot of precision practice so my quads are very sore  and locked up today and im walking around funny.  ;D

My main focus has been rehabing my ankle I hurt severly back in july, it almost back to full strength, about 99.7% healed.
I still need to make it stronger to prevent future injury.

I have been working on grip strength by doing variations of finger tip push ups, and hanging on a small door frame only 1 cm in width. Still have yet been able to pull up on this, it has been a goal of mine since I moved into my dorm in august.

Recently Ive changed my eating habbits to a more healthy selection of foods, trying to rarely eat meat, so far about once a week. I've been getting protine from soy products, and eggs.

I plan on later getting my precision trainers out and traing them barefoot, and with shoes.
Then doing some cardio (suicides, sprints, qm vartiations) Ussual ab work of l-sit practice, crunches, leg twists.
Drill some muscle ups on my table and shower curtain, and then hand stand work.

Im about to start up caporiera, so that should be fun. And im hoping to learn alot of new things

Interesting exersize you all should try.
Go into a back bend position and do push ups from that, it is gret for your lower back and tri's. I learned this saturday and I love it.

Well Im about to go eat lunch, happy training everyone and keep improving safely and steadily.

EDIT: Today is now gonna be my rest day, I just gave blood and will refrain from intense exersize. I might do some prcision drills though.

hmmm now that I think about it, loss of blood could happen in a survial situation, so this could be an opportune time to train with that.  ;D  :-Sarcasm

I just did some movement training, also found a good brick wall for practicing climbing and grip. I cant wait to take advantage of it in the future.

50 box jumps, new exersize I thought of to work stabilizer muscles. Go into crane position on a wall, and bounce up and down on it. It works really well for the knee muscles.
Some movement training.
Also did arms and back, and abs.

birthday was yesterday.

Today I qm'd a city block, which I measured out to be 850 feet. Furthest I've gone yet, I think.
Did some plyometrics, and some movement training.
20 pull ups, super man pose. Sprinting(the block). abs, and fingers.
I really wan to work on my sprinting distance.

I've been getting knee pain that Im 99 percent sure is due to weak hamstrings/glutes. So I've started working those alot more than I have been.
I started doing a brutal exersize calle the glute ham raise. Also one leg bridges.
