Hands arent my big problem, I wear weight lifting gloves so I dont tear my wrists (used to happen alot).
But you cant really wear full gloves, just makes everything harder in my experience.
On a interesting side note, really f-ed up my knee, I injured it bad a few years back in soccer, and needed some surgery, and then yesterday I tried to speed vault a fence at a pretty good clip, the top was about 4 and half feet high or so, needless to say I barely cleared it, but I clipped the top with my knee as I spun over, got a pretty solid catilidge bruise.
Im probably out for a few weeks assuming it heals right.
A word of advice, dont ever hurt your knees, its been about 2 years since my soccer injury and the knee is still weak.
Knees just never grow back right, one injury can last a life-time.
