It should be fine, after all it is helping, not hurting ;).  Demon has done some great tutorial videos (including vaults 102), so maybe we should beg him to make some more :)

That's what I initially thought, but the UF forums don't seem to be working.
 - will come up with a solution in the next day or so...

EDIT: Demon said it was Ok. I'm not sure about the website, tell me how it works.

Thats the idea is to run if you alway running, stoping, running, stoping you break your flow. I can see if you jog while pking that way you wont be over worked.

Well, you are somewhat correct, Parkour doesn't necessarily have to be performed at full-tilt at all times, but that is usually the method which displays the Traceurs skills the most. As for learning the moves, we will have our tutorial vide available within the next couple of weeks, so keep an eye out.

I honestly can't beleive someone is complaining about running in parkour videos. You would perfer to see people walk? Parkour is not just about efficiency its also about speed, honestly if your asking this question you need to go train more with the idea of an emergency situation in mind, one doesn't mosey in an emergency situation.

I shall not fear, fear is the mind killer the little death that precedes total obliteration

I will face my fear, I will let it pass over and through me and were it is gone, I will turn the inner eye and see its path, and only I will remain.

parkour/freerunning is about keeping momentum, and fluid motion as well....so i'd say its essential to move fast, maybe not sprinting but surley not walking.

whoa, i posted here and then peaced for a while.

kipup, that definition i gave was based upon my own reasoning, and i admit, open to being picked apart because I'm not necessarily an authority on the subject.  my point was that there isn't (or if there is, there shouldn't be) one 'parkour pace'.  if you're being chased by a madman who is sprinting, then you will probably sprint too.  if you need to travel 15 miles, you'll probably mosey along.  that's how your goals define your movement.

as for vids, i do think that they are more entertaining to see when people are running.  ultimately however, the level of aesthetic pleasure gained out of watching a video will vary based upon each individual's subjective opinions, so i don't think that the speed at which a traceur/freerunner travels in a vid is up to much debate.

Haha, I've kept an eye on this thread for your reply because I'd never heard that definition before.
That's an interesting point about "what if you have to travel 15 miles" - I'd never thought about that before.

Thanks for replying and answering my questions, I appreciate it.
