Wednesday:
I did 30 minutes of stretching.  Concentrating mostly on my hamstrings, hip flexors and shoulders.
I also had an appointment with my knee surgereon and he said I can start weening myself off of my crutches and riding a stationary bike

Thursday:
I road a stationary bike for 10 minutes.
Then I did
3 x 3 muscle up motion at 120 lbs.
Then I experimented with various ways of doing an overhead press.  I was trying to find a way to do it with my hands flat like if I was doing a handstand.  The only good way I could find was using a weight plates held flat and lifting them above my head, but to do enough weight to be useful was a little dangerous because it would be too easy to drop the the plate and hurt myself.
Then I dead 6 dead hang pullups

Friday:
I road a stationary bike for 11 minutes and did a little stretching.

Saturday:
I road a stationary bike for 12 minutes and did a little stretching

Yeah, don't do that. I do overhead lunges with plates, but mine are bumpers... having the ability to drop them and get out of the way is priceless... you won't have that with standard plates... also, the range of motion is significantly different than with the press (you will actually have to get your face out of the way)

Just do standard press... practice resting the bar on your shoulders, right up against your neck, that way you will be forced to bend your wrists the way you would with a hanstand push-up

Yeah after playing with the plates a little i gave up on that.  I have been doing standard press (except seated cause I can' t stand) and today I experimented with using dumbells.
I have been a slacker with keeping my log, so I am not going to try catching it up.
Today i did:

Morning:
15 minutes of stationary bike.

Evening:
Warmup
3 x 6 muscle up motion at 120 lbs.
3 x 5 seated dumbell overhead press with 2 x 40 lbs dumbells
5 weighted pullups @ 17.5 lbs
5 weighted dips @ 17.5 lbs

Nice job!

Dumbells are the way to go. Far more effective than the barbell... you work on all those stabilizer muscles

To give you an idea, when I do squat-cleans in my training, or thrusters, I use a barbell with either 135 lbs or 115 lbs (depending on what's prescribed for that day). When I do dumbells, I need everything I got to manage the 55 lbs dumbells (that's a 25 lb difference!). They are also awesome for balance.

The only reason I don't do more dumbell work are 1) I don't have any 2) If I did, I couldn't drop them
